What are the Wolves' players up to this off-season?

Post#1 » by theGreatRC » Wed Jun 22, 2011 7:38 pm

Post in this thread if you know where players are playing, post videos of them working out, playing in a league game, etc.

Wesley Johnson and B-EZ are playing in a LA league called the "Drew league". Durant, Harden, Tyreke, DeRozan, Dorell Wright, Craig Smith, Joe Smith and other NBA players are playing in it right now.

I don't know if it was for fun, but at 3:10 in the video, you can see Beasley shooting it right handed...(I know he was right handed when he was young)

Post more if you find about Love, Rube, Wes, Beas, Randolph, anyone else.

Randolph has been in Minnesota the entire summer working out and working with JB. From what I hear he has put on 10lbs already.

Kevin Love is doing "Right Guard" commercials. I also have a hunch he's looking for more acting opportunities....I could see him as student teacher/Basketball coach on Glee.

Wes Johnson is training with Kobe and Kobe has been saying Wes is gonna be a star. Wes is working only on handling this off season. He sees Wes as a 2 guard.

GREAT thread idea mr great...god this team has so much dam potential it is crazy - CAN'T FREAKEN WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!. rubio is gonna have a huge impact in organising this team, bringing a winning pedigree and attitude and making every guy much better. is it just me or does beasley look like he's put on a bit of weight in a not good way? if randy can put on another 10 or so pounds before the season starts it would make taking williams and keeping him ALMOST bearable to me.

Beasley has been lifting weights more this offseason than he has in his career, so he probably has some extra bulk right now.

props for the thread idea.
I don't have any info but wanna know more.

Does anyone know if Darko is actually trying this offseason? or has he just given up again?

Does anyone have more info/articles on Randolphs training or Wes Johnsons?

I don't care about Randolph gaining 10lbs... I just pray that Love has lost 10lbs. I think he would be deadly in the 230-240 range. he was looking rather svelte towards the end of last season, but I want to see him with some ripped arms, like Gugliotta of old.

If Randolph could bulk up and see time at the Center and PF spots that would be deadly.

As far as Loves arm muscles... he didn't seem to have any trouble last season holding position

Rambis has been writing a report and getting fired.

It doesn't matter how the arms looks; Kevin Love is WAY stronger than Googs ever was.

Like, WAY WAY WAY WAY stronger. Stronger. So much stronger.

I would LOVE it if Randolph could bulk up a bit and put more time in at center. Seeing Rubio/Wes/Williams/Beas/Randolph run the floor together is not only something I'm craving to watch, I think it would be Kahn's wet dream of a long & athletic lineup.

Pekovic has been raping Montenegrans.

Oops, I meant repping Montenegrans.

Darko has been working out in Serbia. His regime consists of running through the Serbian forests and mountains wearing only a jelek and screaming profanities at anyone who gets in his way.

Bynum has been shopping for a new house in Shakopee.

 Oh Dorkoo. Watch him come back this year not scared to take his 3 point shot, dunking all over people, aggressive, mean, ready to kill.

Just kiddin, finger roll layups, flinching from contact, and being terrible.

I think that pic proves that Beasley is 6'10 since Durant is 6'11.

Darko is a die-hard patriot of his country. I'm hoping that he and his family start getting spoiled by the American life style. Fingers crossed...

EDIT*** But he's also making millions of dollars, and needs to get his azz over here and work. Time to hone those skills and put them to use....suckaaa.
