the congo was treated very poorly by the belgians and King Leopold II...if the congonise people didnt meet rubber collection quotas in a given day they would chop off their hands...often trading a basket of rubber for a basket of hands....anyway back to Biyombo

Bonnell's version of our best options at all 3 spots.

My pick off list would be :
#9 Biyombo
#19 Hamilton
#39 Morris

For what it's worth, on Jon G's list of best 100, they are #3, #11 and #22.

I think these guys represent who he feels the Cats are keying on at those spots, and ranked in that order. He's probably got a good enough read that it's a reasonable assumption. Short of Kemba Walker falling to us at 9 (or of course the great K Leonard who we lust after for no great reason) I'd prefer to get BB at 9 versus a SF. However, I'm still very much in favor of the trade down with Houston, with my target at 14 being Vucevic (he will go 16th or 17th I'm certain), then Hamilton/Singleton at 19 and best PG available at 23.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

wouldn't be horrible IMO.

I'd be looking to trade T2 for a post scoring/offensive PF during the season or next summer though.

Hey, I was thinking (for you superstitious types):

Our owner is Michael Jordan, who famously wore #23
Today is the 23rd
Jordan Hamilton wore #23 his freshman year at Texas
Hamilton's first name is Jordan
If we can trade #9 with Houston for #14 and #23 taking Jordan Hamilton 23rd overall......

HE MIGHT BE THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER TO EVER LIVE!!!

:o :o :o :o :o

(and yup, for those of you who are wondering, this is the type of crap that goes through my mind)

Geez, a back issue. Maybe it's much ado over nothing, but constant injury is the last thing we need...DIOP DEAUX.

Same stuff that happens in the NFL draft, a couple days before out of nowhere some player has some sort of medical issue that only recently reared its head. GM's who want players put out possible mis-information like this in hopes that it'll scare other teams off and he falls to them. Not saying that this is mis-information, but reports like this that come out days before the draft I usually take with a grain of salt.

Haha..yessssssss nice observation....seriously though, depending on whos there at 9.....that Houston trade is the best realistic scenario. We could land 3 different players to fill specific roles, a scorer, a solid big, and maybe a backup point or versatile swing man. Damn....draft is still 10 hrs away #impatience

http://espn.go.com/blog/TrueHoop/post/_ ... to-move-up

Is Thunder point guard Eric Maynor worth a lottery pick? Sources say the Thunder have been quietly gauging interest in Maynor over the last few days in an attempt to move up into the top half of the draft. They've spoken to the Kings (No. 7) and Bobcats (No. 9) in particular in the last few days.

hell no to maynor for #9.

Maynor and #24 for #19, I'll think about it.

Chad Ford's Mock v.7 - Day Of Mock

#9: Kawhi Leonard
#19 Marshon Brooks
#39 Malcolm Lee
