I saw a link (can't remember where) that said we rejected Kaman plus Gomes for Iggy and Speights but it was unclear to me whether we are anti-Kaman altogether.

Chad Ford just updated his mock and has Markieff going to the Suns at No. 13 ahead of his brother, who he has dropping down to 18. Given that he has Vucevic going to Houston at No. 14, this makes a least a little sense of why we would consider moving up to No. 10 to get one of the bigs we like.

If Markieff and Vucevic are going before us, there could be better players falling to 16.

Where did you hear that? The last I heard is that Philly is just waiting to see if LA blinks and gives them the entire package that they want. Have they issued a denial of some sort?

Says that the Sixers are not taking kaman. Questions if the clips would include the assets necessary to get the sixers to take kaman

Nice to see that we are not going to panic and just be pushed over in these dealings. Either the other teams give us what we want or we keep Iggy.

I wonder what the potential of a team jumping in or sweetening their offer is once the draft is underway

We're playing hardball. Teams are/were probably expecting us to become soft as the draft nears...glad to see we are turning up the heat.

I understand not getting fleeced, but asking for the moon and the stars for Iguodala is killing this management...and me. This is why I said all season that Iguodala will remain a Sixer until his current contract runs out and the Sixers may even try to re-sign him, but he will go to greener pastures. I will never get excited about any Iguodala trade rumors because I know it won't happen. The FO looking to get Durant in return and what not. Geez.

People are going to get pissed over who is picked. Me, on the other hand, I couldn't care less right about now. Sixers = We Love Being Average. Show Ya Luv!

If a trade gets done tonight that's what has to happen. Nothing ever gets done till deadline.

Ford's most recent mock draft now has Markieff and Vucavic off the board before the Sixers pick, but has Marcus Morris available at 16. He may be a tweener, but he is a tweener that can shoot and would give us a very viable option to replace Thad if either Thad leaves or moves into the starting lineup. I'd grab him if he is there at 16, same with Singleton who Ford has dropping down past 16.

Biyombo got a late invite to the green room, meaning the league thinks he will definitely go lottery.

If Singleton is there, I'm confident we take him. From everything I read, we really, really like him.

He would be a definite sign that they still intend to move Iggy and would be a great replacement on the defensive side of the ball, plus has some potential as a spot up shooter. Reminds me a little of Robert Horry.

Do you like him?

I mean he's okay. Top notch defender but...he can't shoot for **** apparently.

Do we need another one of those?

Good Kid though.

Gargano also said that the Wolves thought about Iguodala for #2 but eventually turned it down. He said Ellis isn't happening the GSW don't wanna trade him. Iguodala will probably be a Sixer.

if we got an offensive big, and started turner at SG, singleton makes sense at the SF position IF turner's 3 point shot is better... which it should be

Well at least they tried...i was about to be mad if they didn't even offer it.

Might as well keep him and get ready for Vucevic Future.

Wonder what number he'd wear? is 5 available?
