really not going to count on any one "confirmation" until the fax is in at the league office. so much misinformation out there about this deal.

i love this deal for the bucks. i think jax, bogut and jennings + all the defenders and role players they have make a fine team.

sad to see jax go to be honest. i thought he was due for a monster year.

maggette salary info

2011-12 = 10.2 mil
2012-13 = 10.9 mil

shockingly overpaid.

Bucks got a terrible deal. Bobcats win, by far. Kings made a deal.

I'm OK with it. Just have to make the right picks at #7 and #9 to finish off the deal for a success.

Fantastic trade for Charlotte. Cho is indeed rebuilding the team in the mold of the Thunder. Everyone doesn't need to look too far into Maggette, he was thrown in there to make the salaries match up, and although he is grossly overpaid he looks like Rambo with his shirt off and can contribute.

I feel the same way. Hard to fault picking up a #7 pick without taking on any extra salary or trading any long-term pieces.

With Jax now gone, this leaves more scoring opportunites for Augustin and Hendo now.

Do you think we would pick Veselý if he slips from 6th? Over Tristan? I know I'd do but Cho?

maggette will be in heaven being the #1 option on a bad team. he'll put up 20ppg, with half of it coming on free throws.

and he'll average 0.1 assists per game.

Rich Cho doing his thing. Hopefully you guys will suck the next two years and will continue to get high draft picks.

I freaked out when this was first reported, because Ford thought we gave up #9. This is the first deal ever that it at least appears, on its face, that we won. It is roughly salary-neutral and provides a pretty decent return for jackson. Magette has his share of problems, but one thing he can actually do is score, so it may not even hurt us THAT much competitively. Obviously the big worry is about the leadership for all these young guys... still, hard not to see this as a net win for us.

This makes me think you guys will end up taking Bismack Biyombo with one of the picks.
