For those who are so anti-Val and pro-Kemba or pro-Knight... it's not like teams were jumping through hoops to get these guys.

I didn't hear a work about teams trying to trade up for these two (like the Spurs with Val), nor did Washington and Charlotte feel they were worth more than Vesely and Biyombo.

I like Valanciunas. Lithuanian bigs have a good history of working out well in the NBA.

It'll hurt worse when we wait forever.

Bayless and DeMar?

Don't worry, DeMar will be signing elsewhere when his contract ends and Andrea, Val and Colangelo will still be around. Oh, and the fanbase will turn on Demar and call him a scrub and say how he didn't deserve a good contract. History will repeat.

history will repeat and hopefully downers like you wont be here.

Think LBJs agent ( Vals agent ) and BC engineered it.
Think the buyout was a canard to ge5t Cleveland to pick someone else.
Filled the Raptors biggest need at C.
Downside is Gortat upside Noah but with more offensive skills.

Happy Camper

Agreed. Great night for us (Raptors and Canadian b-ball fans). :D

I've finally come to my senses after raging for the past hour and fantasizing about murdering Bryan Colangelo. Jonas isn't a bad pick. Like I've always said, he reminds me of a bigger Amir Johnson, less intangibles but you have to love the fact that he's bigger nonetheless. Him and Davis will probably be a nice frontcourt.

BC bashers like you are so one sided. I don't mind the pick even if it fails as it points to a willingness to rebuild. And he has the skill set to possibly be a very good pick. And I'm still leary of BC. Especially when it comes to handing out moola to free agents.

I've been a fan of this team since day 1 you 100 post wonders. Y'all can cuddle those Araujo jerseys because I'm sure you loved that pick too.

I'll keep speaking the truth and you'll keep getting angry.

Pretty much what happened to me. I was on the Bismack bandwagon too. I'm not as mad about the pick as before, I still hope we trade him but I'll support him until he gives me reason not to.

I'm content with the fact Bayless is being given his chance for the PG reins this year, at least that's what I think will happen, pending trade/FA signing.

How many times or if at all have yall seen him play.

i cant stop laugh at this pick..

dead****

Ive been watching Jonas highlights and games since November. Ive been pimping him out for ages now. How many times have you seen him play?

You do know that highlights don't mane shyt right??
as for his games am curious to know how much games you actually watched against subpar competition out there in Europe.
As for me watching him play,i haven't seen any of his games as the euro league don't do it for me.
soccer yes,basketball no.
i can tell you this though the comparisons that are made of him arent to flattering
brezic/hawes aren't flattering.plus dude is weak..
most importantly there are better players to be had at 5

Like i said before colongelo history being in this town, along with raps fans being delusional will keep me entertained for some time.
