At this point, someone's going to get a huge steal in Donatas.

A rubio situation would be great, really. Gives us a better pick next year, gives him a year to bulk up, and gives us more control over his contract in the years that we might actually be able to compete.

I'm still not sure what I think of Val, but I'm really hopeful.

EDIT: As an aside, wow, the Pacers got a huge steal picking Leonard just out of the lottery. He's going to be great for them.

I've never seen Jonas play but I hear he's an energy big with a big motor and rebounds and defends pretty good which I like in a centre... still would have preferred Kemba but i'm neutral about this pick. Also I'd much rather have jonas then bismack, jonas has some offensive game.

I'm trying to find confirmation he has defensive acumen. Not just rebounding.

Like I've always said, he reminds me of a bigger Amir Johnson, less intangibles but you have to love the fact that he's bigger nonetheless. Him and Davis will probably be a nice frontcourt.

I've had a similar experience. I stopped and thought...wait who the f*k is Jonas Valanciunas? Is he any good? So who the hell knows, because I sure don't so I can't complain yet. Especially since I still like Bayless. However, I'm still pretty butt hurt about Brandon Knight.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Would have prefered Knight or Leonard at 5, but this is the right pick in all honesty. A legit seven footer -WHO PLAYS LIKE A BIG MAN- , with a frame that should allow him to put on weight. If we have to wait 2 years for him to get stronger and develop more, so what? Whats the rush? Sets us up for another lotto pick next year and more importantly gives us a chance to see if Bargnani can handle playing for Casey.
