Let's just say, someone asked BC why he would pick a long term project with his 2 year (plus club option third year) in place.

Almost borderline realgm haterclub criticism, and he basically just went off talking about how he wasn't going to serve his need for self gratification.

I am over this now... our pg situation is alright because i have faith in bayless... However if were keeping bargs and putting Val beside him i will be soo dissapointed. Val beside Ed or amir? Okay but bargs has to go and im tired of seeing colangelo try to save his baby.

I don't think the Noah comparison has much on it. What seems to separate Noah is the fact that the dude is absolutely nuts.

Raps really wanted Jonas. BC said he was not surprised that he was not picked 4th. I gotta say, that the Raps really researched Val. Had a lot of information on buyouts and spoke with his agents. Said Bismack was # 2 on the draft board.

If he's the opposite of Bargnani as the reports say, I'm happy with this pick. But if it also means Bargnani stays and Davis goes, this doesn't look too good.

Does the Doug get ANYTHING right? If not Knight, then Biyombo, he says. I wonder if late one night he'll show up on BC's doorstep with tears running down his makeup telling him he's not going to be lied to anymore.

Where's Lionel Messi when you need him?

Now is a perfect time for him to say that nobody around here uses the word "euro" pejoratively.

Beans with a good FT shot is probably more apt... and I'd take that in a second.

And thanks for taking TT, Cavs! Dodged that Bismack bullet.

dude definitely trying to build a we are the world team.

mofo needs to be fired.

Say what???

Ajinca was a throw in, and Belli we got for cheap as well. Gheradini, believe it or not, isn't actually a player on our team. How are you including Barbosa??? Val was the BPA at the time.

So really, you've got Bargs and Kleiza. Bargs is still a net positive, just on a more expensive contract than we might like, and Kleiza went down because of injury.

Yeah, fire the dude.

In his defense he probably didn't think Cleveland would have idiotically make a dumb gamble and risk losing the guy they wanted.

Yep, although he did said he would've attempted to move back to get him in that case

I like the pick a lot. I wanted Knight originally but once the Cavs grabbed TT, I wanted Val. We're looking at potentially a very good defensive and rebounding front court with Ed and Val, something we haven't had since the Oakley/Davis days. Also by grabbing Val instead of BB it lessens the amount of scoring we'll need from our wings. Playing 4 on 5 on O isn't ideal.

Next year we can grab a stud PG or SF and we'll be pretty set. The top PGs coming out next year are better then Knight/Walker so I don't think we'll regret passing on them.

was hoping for either Knight or Kemba. But Jonas was my 3rd choice so I guess it's alright. It's better than getting Biyombo.
