Kupchak: None of the rumors will happen

Post#1 » by dockingsched » Fri Jun 24, 2011 1:10 am

Lakers Reporter:

Mitch Kupchak, speaking now, said other teams have been coming to the Lakers with all kinds of offers, and not the other way around.

Kupchak added that he does not anticipate any of the rumors from the past few days about LAL players will happen.

Kupchak said that those rumors were driven by agents; he has maintained that LAL wants to keep its core together.

Kevin Ding

Kupchak said none of the trade rumors you've heard about the Lakers recently will happen, says it's all "agent-driven."

forgot that mitch better be careful with what he says! iggy's agent is rob pelinka, kobe's agent.

that also means kobe wants lamar off the team!

What the hell...if the blazers could get Felton for miller, Blake and a 2nd rounder or two would have gotten it done. Mitch has lost hid touch, the whole FO is dilusional to think we don't need change

This is actually painfully obvious to anyone who listens. Mitch already said before all of the rumors that he was going to keep the core intact. Obviously, the only way this wouldn't be true, would be if he came upon a dream trade, like Dwight Howard.

WTF is Mitch waiting for ?!???

Dallas just aquired Rudy Fernandez for their #26 pick, Jordan Hamilton
(more 3PT going to be raining on Mitch, the Buss's and the rest of the Lakers next season)

Keep up the (lack of) good work Mitchhyyy !!!

FO has their heads so far up the rear that they wont even "break up the core that got swept in the 2nd round" for even DH12 !

This is actually the first I heard of that. Good move by Dallas. Have to give Cuban credit - He is willing to shell out the cash for a winning team. We'll be ok - We are a proven winning team, who happened to have their worse slump of the year at a bad time.

So what now we have like 12 core guys? When I think core it's Bynum Pau Kobe. (Lamar goes for the right price) the rest of the team is up for grabs. We are done if nothing happens with our roster by the 30th next season will be painful to watch on most nights

heres the link to the trade: http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2011/6/23/2 ... il-blazers

Dallas/Portland trade is going to effect the Denver / Portland trade (Miller / Felton)

Great title Cash!.......... told y'all not to get too excited about all that crap. The Lakers were in a very tedious position, any trade would have to involve a key piece.
