Before I vote, to what level does the choice of Mirotic help our ability to sign FAs? As in salary savings. I know the CBA will determine that, but is there anything we know about that amount of savings already?

Tentatively, C. But it depends a lot on whether the FO has some plan at the 2. If they do, a solid B. If they don't, F.

B

I think we will have a really good defender in Butler. I think he will defend like Brewer, but also have a scoring ability that Ronnie lacks. I like this pick.

As far as Mirotic goes, he will be worth the wait. Toni Kukoc 2.0!!!!!!!

C, we need to build on last year's success not draft for 4 years down the road.

Could have picked Brooks at 23, don't mind the Butler pick but, how many defensive guys are we going to take? We need people who can handle the ball and shoot we have plenty of defenders.

I graded based, obviously, on what one would expect from a couple of late round picks.

Well we won't know how this one will turn out for years. I banking on Nilola being good and that why I gave this a B, but it sounds like it will be a few years before we see him. I expect Jimmy Butler will fit into thibs system as a hustle defender. I'm not expecting much there.

The least we could have possible done was draft Jenkins/Selby and Johnson/Harper. Didn't even manage that. This was extremely disappointing.

For getting a lottery pick talent with the 23rd pick they get an A. But waiting 4 years for him is a C. That averages into a B.

Butler is a nice talent at 30, but isn't really a position of need. He'll get a B+ if he can give us a productive 12 minutes a night.

 I'd go D or F, not sure which one. If we had taken Singler it would have fallen to an F-.

B baby, love the Mirotic pick because we don't add some rook who will never get burn and we are not getting too short-sighted in this kind of draft.

Jimmy Butler is two things, tough and from Marquette. That means he is well coached and will work his ass off.

Not much immediate help. You have to like Mirotic's potential, but he's just a guy you get 4 years down the road. Who knows what our team looks like then?

This is a talent-light draft, but I think the Bulls could have done better. I'll give them a C-.

I went with a D.

Mirotic is years away from being able to contribute, while I feel Brooks and Hamilton despite being late picks have scoring that could translate immediately to any team.

Butler isn't a bad role player, but I would've went with Honeycutt, Leslie, Jenkins or Harper over him.

Overall, I understand that depending on rookies to help you in key roles immediately on a contender isn't a great strategy. But when there's players on the board who have skills that can translate immediately, I think you take that chance. Getting Brooks at 23 and Harper at 30 would have been an absolute steal.

B

Mirotic is solid, if they had taken Bogdanovic with 30 it would've been an A.

If you can't trade the picks for immediate help, getting euro stash players is the next best thing. Since Marshon Brooks is clearly not the answer to all our problems, I think we did very well.

Anything the Bulls did would have been a failure in your eyes.

D.

The Bulls are not dynasty Spurs so they can allow themselves to stash some players for years in Europe while having a major holes in their team to be fixed.

They were never going to get a starting SG in the draft but could have gotten more scoring. That Brooks gkid would have been very good of the bench. That second unit can not score on anyobody, remember!!

The Bulls now need a starting SG and a scorer of the bench. Good luck findind those two in FA.

There is not a player in this draft that would have been able to get more than 10 - 15 minutes a game, even in the mid-lottery, this season. No one outside the lottery would expect to see any court time, so a high lottery talent in a few years, and a just in case glue guy, it is an A.
