The fact that athleticism keeps getting talked about as a plus for this guy is insane. He has Joel Pryzbilla athleticism
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Bargnani is not getting traded.

Nice, do you have an inside source telling you exactly that he is 100% for sure not getting traded? Because if so, it should be easy for you to link it! :)

You don't need an inside source. Just listen to Colangelo and Casey.

Looks like Colangelo didn't really interview Casey, he probably spent the whole interview convincing Casey how Bargnani is the next Nowitzki and Casey can make it happen.

People will say defense is number 1 priority, but it seems that he has an assignment to make Bargnani like Nowitzki. I hope Casey sees the light.

Allow me some of this since everyone seems entitled to it tonight.

We've got....

Derrick Rose
Kobe Bryant
LeBron James
Dirk Nowitzki
Arvydas Sabonias

So far, so good. Looks like a championship time.

I'm not hatting on Val, he is a good prospect...I just don't get why you guys took him in this draft at #5 with all the legit PG prospects out there who could fill a much more needed position for your team right now. No need to get defensive about it...

I'll just leave you guys with that. I'm not getting into an argument over it, I just wanted to drop my two cents. Best of luck to you guys and your team.

You may prove right. I don't like the sound of Kanter personally. And I'd rather have Jonas. But admittedly I like Kanter with the Jazz environment better than the Raptors. And I know little about both. I like Knight and hope it doesn't bite the Raps in the ass. But I can't overlook how many critics Knight has either. Kemba I can't help but imagine Billups backing him up. He looks small. Charlotte's a great franchise for him to end up in. So, it's been a confusing draft and I think time will tell. Cautiously optimistic until I see him play in the big leagues.

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm a big Raptors fan and watch a lot of your games. I was just shocked to see you guys pass on Knight when he fell right into your laps. I thought you guys would eat him up.

I don't get the strategy of waiting to get a PG next year...there is no guarantee you will get anyone better next year at PG and I guess if you guys want to be contempt on being bad for another year to get another lottery pick then so be it but that's not a winning strategy....mainly because you know, you're still losing.

Just saying is all...

Knight sucks, he has high potential, but doesn't mean he doesn't suck now.

Yet Pryzbilla has been a pretty effective C for his 10 year career.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

I simply do not like this pick, I wanted Brandon Knight. Knight is tall, long, athletic, he can shoot, he can handle the ball, he's quite the scorer in general, has good defensive upside, I just see him being a very good player. A bit raw as a passer/playmaker, but sounds like a good, humble kid and a hard worker, with his tools he should do well. Val seems like a major question mark to me, what exactly does he do really well? If Knight was off the board I would have been fine with the pick, but with Knight available, I don't like it.

Knight doesn't seem happy...

Knight on going late: "The draft is inexact." Now, he says, it's about making those teams that passed on you pay.

Sounds like Bayless to me and already have one. Would much rather swing the fences for a Biedrins/Chandler-type C

He's going to dunk on Jonas.
