For Rostislav Olesz. The link says Reinprecht too but TSN is saying it's only Olesz.

And they traded Brouwer to Washington for a draft pick. Love the Campbell deal because...it's Brian Campbell. Not sure about the Brouwer deal, but I would imagine he was asking for too much.

If Florida wanted to eat up cap space that badly, they could've had Gomez for free...

I more or less agree with you here. I had nothing against Campbell, but he was just taking up way too much cap space for what he gave us on the ice. Trading him should open up some cap space for us to make some noise in trades and free-agency. Speaking of which, I keep hearing that we need a C for the 2nd line. I don't claim to be a hockey expert by any means, but isn't Bolland a pretty good 2nd line C? Oh well, I guess I'll just have to trust management to get us what we need.

As for Brouwer, I'm not really a big fan of trading him either. I really like him as a player and love his combination of size and skills, but he's another guy that we would have had to re-sign, so I can only assume that he priced himself out of our budget. I'm interested to see who we get to replace him.

Suprised someone took Campbell off the Hawks hands. Its not that he's a bad player but his contract is just horrible.

Florida needs to get to the cap floor, makes sense that Tallon would want him back. Plus, the Panthers PP was putrid last season, so Campbell is actually a pretty good fit.

Looks like Gomez might go to Phoenix or Colorado so they can hit the floor too.

Here's hoping.
