Calgary Flames defenceman Robyn Regehr has agreed to waive his no-move clause and accepted a trade to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.
Regehr, along with winger Ales Kotalik and a second-round draft pick in 2012 were sent to the Sabres in exchange for Paul Byron, Chris Butler.
I like this deal a lot for Buffalo, they get back a big pyhiscal defensive defenseman to protect Miller. I'm not exactly a fan of what Calgary got back though, but they did get rid of Kotalik and his contract.
