Why basically salary dump for Atlanta but get 3 decent players

Toronto we get a quality SF in Smith can draft a PG in 2012 draft, ZaZa contract 2 year give us C till Val matures, Hinrich expires after next season.

Cuts rebuilding by one year.

They laugh in our face. They would ask for our 2012 1st round pick, at which point you have to think about Smooves worth and where we might potentially pick.

I like the Amir for Marvin as a starting point. Marvin is a better player but I don't like his contract. Amir's contract is market value.

That makes the money more equal as Kleiza has another year than Marvin

But there is no need for him in Atlanta, JSmoove and Horford are essentially the same player as Amir. They need a center to put Horford at the 4 and they need a real PG

I don't mind this, without Sammy D though. Although, I'd prefer to get a dynamic point guard since next years draft is supposed to be stacked with high ceiling wing players. Not necessarily a guy like Brandon Jennings, but higher up...if that's possible.

Agreed, but I'm not really opposed to the BG idea I proposed. I know his contract is hefty, but he's the perfect 6th man, plus we steal another top pick for 2012. I doubt Detroit fans go for it though.

He's decent sure but they want a scoring PF and Bargnani can play spot minutes at the C position. All Indys board says they need a big man and I lineup of

Sign a guy like Nazr as your backup and your laughing. That team can cover Bargnani defensively and Bird adds more scoring + has one of the better benches in the league (he mentioned this)

Also wed have Calderons expiring as a trade asset to convince the team to move down. Trade Klezia for depth and were looking nice. That team up there is nasty

Don't see Indy taking on Bargs since they have Hansborough. If we're looking for a late 2012, we should be targeting team like Houston and Phoenix.

I'f not, I think a deal around Josh Smith to L.A Clips, Bargs to ATL and Minny's 2012 + Kaman or something along those lines would be cool.

Nobody gives up top 5 protected picks to take on 10 million dollars in extra salary in the form of Bargnani. He isn't that good. They might give a lottery protected pick.

Wouldn't it be easier if it was a straight Marvin for Andrea swap? I cant see ATL agreeing to take on Klezia's contract and giving up a pick. Zaza is an expiring + they need the big man depth.
