I have a premium account on Linkedin.

Totally worth it imo. A lot of people I know go jobs/contract offers through there in engineering, science and finance.

With a premium account you get to see who's looking at your profile and what keywords they used to arrive there. Pretty good if you are actively looking to be noticed for a job etc..
