What shooter Jazz should get?

Post#1 » by eLo » Mon Jun 27, 2011 9:49 pm

When it comes to players its now biggest Jazz need, we dont have any one who could effectively stretch the floor. We have so many talented bigs and they need shooter as co player to be really productive, so here we go with question who and how to get???

I like idea of bringing back KK in package with for example Jimy Butler, although i know is not perfect solution the best would be a guy who could create position for him self, on nba com Aldridge mentioned Rip Hamilton, well hard to disagree with that candidacy but i think still few guys would be better for Jazz like: Danny Granger or maybe Dorell Wright.

Granger would be great.

I have a feeling Hayward is going to be getting a lot of 3s in this year's offense. Wasn't he shooting them really well during the last half of the season?

If Gordo can learn to do that, then he and Burks have a good chance at being complementary wings. More like Allen and Peirce than Wade and Bron (don't freak out, I did not just say they were going to be that good).
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

i also thought about Crawford but he is kind of silly guy, he can win games for his team but same way he can drown it chances for final success. I know it sound kind strange but i think that maybe even getting jr( yes that fool :) ) would play better than signing Jamal.

best would be guy with decent ball handling and great stand up shooting ability some think like Kevin Martin ( but chances of getting him are relatively low). also i dont think that Hay and Burks will ever by that type of guy i mean stand up 3 threat.

47% for the season. Hayward's gonna make it rain.

Streaky shooters don't shoot in the 40% range. is eLo trolling again?

I don't think elol knows what streaky means. Lock out will prevent us from getting a stab at Ben Hansbrough unfortunately.

Wonder how hard it would be to bring someone like Ryan Gomes in, he's always been a solid 3 point shooter, and could play some valuable sf minutes if ak is on the way out.

how about Marco Belinelli, Delonte West, Michael Redd, Jamal Crawford, Mike Dunleavy. all are unrestricted.

I was thinking Wilson Chandler might be a good add too.

Come cheap? I can't think of anyone but Millsap who could be packaged for a new draft pick.

Cant see the Jazz getting any FA of note

Best option is to maybe package Millsap and Bell to Orlando for JJ, Anderson and maybe QRich, havent checked if it works salary wise and there may need to be some picks, but it would get at least a couple of "deemed" quality shooters

He means Reggie Williams. And that's a player I like a lot as well, I'm just not sure he really does come cheap.

I agree that Wilson Chandler could be had, and he is one that I think would be a great addition to the team! The challenge with Chandler is that he's with the Nuggz and I don't imagine either team would be anxious to assist the other via trade.

What I really quite like about WC is that he is a good defender and spreads the floor.
