Nets Extend Deadline On Graham's Contract

The Nets extended the deadline for deciding whether to guarantee Stephen Graham's contract for 2011-12 to the day before the start of the season. The Nets have the right to make a qualifying offer to forward Brandan Wright, whom they acquired at the trade deadline, along with Dan Gadzuric, in exchange for Troy Murphy. They are not expected to do so, and will allow Wright to become an unrestricted free agent

Could still use him in a trade can't they ? It's not like this pays Graham anything . Now if they actually pick up his contract thats a whole different story.

Thank god. I was was afraid the Nets were going to let Graham go without a fight. Now they have more time to workout a fair extension with Graham / his agent.

Can't lose Graham. It would set the team back years.

I knew they wouldn't pick up Wrights option.They can sign him for less if they want him back
