Don't know if it's been said but the highest rated Packer is 11th.

Which means we'll see Rodgers, Matthews, and Woodson on this week's countdown of players 20-11.

Pretty much. He starts the article off by saying Rodgers is overrated. Then he proceeds to pretty much slobber all over how good Rodgers is for the rest of the article, thus crushing his original thesis of the whole article

I wouldn't go anywhere near that far. Unlike some articles that get posted in today's media, none of the facts Brooks used to back up his arguments were inaccurate or completely ridiculous arguments to use. He also extended a lot of credit to Aaron.
Where i think Brooks just is mistaken about where Rodgers already is is i don't think he watches every single Packers games as we do. He doesn't follow the team close enough as we do to know just how smart Rodgers is. How super great of a leader he is. How in tune Aaron and McCarthy are with each other. How he obviously has some ego as all great athletes do, but it's more confidence and not arrogance that could turn off teammates and/or make him think he didn't need to still prepare extremely hard.
Thus, Brooks doesn't see the complete full picture that comes with Rodgers and it's that total package of everything which he brings to the Packers as to why he's already a great/special NFL quarterback, not just a really good or great passer who had one magical postseason. There definitely can be a difference when it comes to separating why some quarterbacks become legends and why some mainly just compile good stats. Why he'll continue to work as hard as he did before becoming super famous as he now is.
Rodgers has the total package of physical gifts that an GM would want in a QB, but where Brooks went wrong IMO in taking a not uncommon belief in thinking more of a wait and see approach should be taken with a guy who has only one ring is that he seems to only know what Aaron Rodgers can do on the field from games he's seen and/or highlights. That obviously matters immensely, but there is more to why Rodgers is just beginning a HOF career assuming he stays healthy.
