During Lockout, do you want Kanter to sign elsewhere?
If the lockout really starts to encroach on next season, would you like to see Kanter sign with a European team?

If it's just to play in a short summer tournament or something, than I'm good with it. I don't want him to be stuck mid season under contract with a euro team though when the nba does start back up again.

He's going to play for the Turkish team in Eurobasket 2011.

Can't wait, he should be one of the bigger names on Turkey's roster. Should give us a good preview of what's to come when the season finally starts up.

That kinda thing always scares me (officially signing with another club). I'd prefer he worked out with some of the other Jazz players on an unofficial basis.

The guy hasn't played an organized game of pro basketball for two years.
I'd rather him shake off the rust for Turkey than the Jazz. Should only last from the end of August to mid September.

Oh, I'm all for his playing for the national team. I thought the original question was more along the lines of "should he find a pro team in Europe to play for if the lockout goes on for too long?" I'd prefer he not do that.

I wouldn't mind at all, he needs competitive game experience. Playing with his national team is a good start, but if the lockout takes away part of the NBA season (or all of it) then he should look into finding himself a Euroleague team - although it's not going to be that easy, I reckon, since a buyout clause in case the lockout gets resolved would probably be required and many European teams wouldn't want to spend their money on a guy that could leave at any moment... But from a basketball standpoint? It could be very useful.

Sent to Draftexpress about this and Givony actually responded which was pretty awesome:

Kind of disappointing, but probably expected. Kanter didn't seem to leave his team on good terms.
I would be surprised. If he does, Fenerbahce can and will demand a buyout. RT @DJoel12: Will Enes Kanter sign with a Euroleague team?
