So this will be a 5 rd fight ? If I remember correctly all main event fights after UFC 134 will be 5 rds whether it's for a title or not.

I think Ellenberger may be one of the most underrated guys around. Ever since he brutally KOed Pyle from the guard I thought he was a beast.

Ellenberger is getting the fights Condit should be getting. I don't disagree with it either... I think he's better than Condit and could beat him.

He should have beaten him already.

Agreed, he's a beast but not many people now who he is.

these spike cards don't get the same quality as versus cards at all. shields vs ellenberger is a very intriguing fight though. and i wonder how belcher will look in his first fight back.

Jeez. What a budget event. I'm guessing Shields is single-handedly making as much as the rest of the card.

Dunham vs...Bailey???

Yeah that's a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) matchup, Dunham basically has one loss to Guillard. He won that fight vs Sherk, too bad judges are so damn awful.

I try not to bash cards too much until they happen, but I've gotta say, this might be the worst UFC card I've ever seen on paper. And I don't think it's close.

But it will also be the worst card in reality. Who cares if Ken Stone beats Donny Walker in a war? I don't think I could find many of these fights compelling no matter the action. We're too spoiled, I guess.

I'm looking forward to it, but then again I stayed up all night sat night watching pro elite. :)

Free card, so can't complain too much anyway, and the main event is intriguing to me because I like Ellenberger.

I need the "compelling fights" factor when ordering a ppv (which explains why I skipped ufc133), but I'm cool without it when its a fight night, I guess.

This card gets weaker, not that either of these two make or break the card, DeMarques and Mackens off this card due to injury,

Damnit, Mackens is awesome. Was looking forward to DeMarques getting cut.

I read the other day that Jack Shields (Jake Shields' father and manager) passed away.

I wonder if Jake stays on the card.

I'm glad he's staying on the card but I think maybe he shouldn't, I had(& still have) Ellenberger by KO 2nd rd before hearing this & I know that Shields will of course dedicate this fight to his father & may lack the focus to get the job done after such a tragedy.

BTW I know that Shields has a great chin but Ellenberger has some sick KO power & I doubt shields will be able to take down Ellenberger.
