Since Mayhem will be one of the TUF 14 coaches, Aaron Simpson will now face Brad Tavares on this card.

This card kind of crept up on me. Usually the early July/July 4th weekend show is one of the UFC's biggest of the year. There's definitely nothing to complain about on the card, but I'm kind of surprised that they went with Cruz vs. Faber this year. The main events for the last 3 years were Lesnar/Carwin, Lesnar/Mir, and Rampage/Forrest. I'm glad to see BWs get their shot, but I don't know if they have promoted this event well enough to give them a fair chance at drawing.

Anyway, the card still looks great (I'd take the prelims over this last UFC on Versus offering, with or without Marquardt). Bowles vs. Mizugaki might be the biggest fight so far on Facebook, in terms of relevance in its division (I could be wrong, I don't always get to watch those).

I'm picking:
Cruz
Leben
Bader
Kim
Siver
Guillard
GSot
Bowles
Simpson
Winner
have no idea who the last two guys are

Man, it is COMPLETE BS that Guillard has to fight Roller. Major step down if you ask me. Its a lose - lose for him.

I look for Guillard to pull out a quick KO. But I agree with what you're saying. If he gets by Roller his next fight needs to be a step up, say the Miller/Bendo loser ? Or Pettis ?

Dunham was in line to fight Florian before Florian pulled out right? Then Guillard replaces Kenny and beats 7 shades of **** outta Dunham. Wouldnt you think he realistically be fighting a contender then? Since Florian was a contender and Dunham was considered one to? Pettis would be a step down IMO. Exciting fight though. He should fight Guida or the winner of Miller/Bendo. I think Miller and Bendo is a #1 contender fight. So put Guillard against Guida, winner gets the next title shot.

EDIT:
Just realized Guida and Guillard fight for the same camp. So that throws that fight out the window. ..

I'd hate to see Guillard fight Guida anyway. I hope they have a great relationship. Pettis would be a fun fight.

I just follow MMA like sometime last year around this time(some may saw my thread asking for suggestion from a year ago.) so I still learning who is who

Guida is that wildman with that long hair right the one that just fight Pietus(sp?) not to long ago? If that is the same person I can't stand that guy for some reason he is annoying me

Anyways doesn't look like I be able to go to BWW since I have no car until next week and no ride so I just order the ppv looking forward to the card. Quick question what time the exact fight will start for the prelim on facebook? Is it something like 5:45 pm et?

I've just started following MMA more lately. What's the history with Ortiz and UFC. Saw White interview recently talking about Ortiz hurting the business over the years and this would be his last fight if he lost.

Tito and Dana White have never gotten along over the years but apparently they've put all of that bitterness behind them. wiki probably has more specific details about it for ya. but Tito is one of the "bad boys" of mma so he has a bunch of fans and many more haters. The reason this may be his last fight is because he hasn't won in a few years for various reasons.

he is one of the best light heavyweights of all time but his time is probably up.
