Do you want any of these guys to come back?

Post#1 » by Laimbeer » Thu Jun 30, 2011 3:15 pm

Mike Bibby
Eddie House
Juwan Howard
Erick Dampier
Jamaal Magloire
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Well first of all I wanna see what we can obtain in free agency because both Mike Bibby and Eddie House screwed us in the playoffs but if we can't get anyone else I will bring back the brother in law's on the vet min. Also I wouldn't mind having Juwan Howard back he is a good locker room guy and I would love to see him win a ring and he plays old school basketball. As for Eric Dampier and Jamal Maglorie if Spo doesn't use them and they waste up two roster spots than no I would much rather get someone else. My ideal goal is to see if we can use our MLE on a back up for LeBron and a center I like our Point Guard rotation with Norris Cole and a mature Mario Chalmers just hoping Norris Cole can pan out.

When we played him in the FInals he missed the shots and on the other end Dallas Mavericks scored and gained confidence

2010-11 Miami 7 0 6.9 .235 .300 .000 .7 .1 .6 .0 1.6

Did you expect this from Eddie House in 7 games of the NBA Playoffs he didn't have a impact like he did when he was with Boston or do what James Jones did in Game 1 of the Boston Celtics series granted Spo is a dumbass with rotations but I expected Eddie to do more.

In one word? No.

Maybe a little too blunt, but true.

I ONLY WANT THE BIG KAT. IF OUR TEAM WAS MADE UP OF 15 BIG KATS WE, NOT DALLAS, WOULD BE CELEBRATING.

What are you talking about eddie house only played game five and drained 3 3's

Eddie House was the best offensive bench player for the Heat.

I'd take back Bibby and House and maybe Big Cat just for sentimental reasons. I don't expect him to play at all....unless of course it's in the Finals

What I'd like to see for a change is a real rotation where all are guys are kept in rhythm instead of treating them like they are toys with a big on/off switch.

Juwan, too old. I preferred Kurt Thomas all along and he was the better old guy this year.
Damp...nope. He can keep on partying with the Dallas for all I care.

No.

Eddie House pay have contributed in 1 game out of 2 offensively, but he hurt the Heat on defense so much. People forget Eddie was to cover Terry when he got in, and Terry melted House. Why was Eddie even on him in the first place? I don't know and we'll never know.

Eddie House does not fit this team defensively. It's non-existent.

Bibby, I think he looked worse than he is. He's a good veteran PG who can run an offense. When he arrived, he did that and the Heat were great and he would sink like 3 3's a game and even get some assists. But in the Finals, he was told to spot up and didn't handle the ball much. Which I don't understand (actually the whole playoffs). I think he lost all of his rhythm, his whole career his main job wasn't to go in the corner to get a 3. Why does this team continue to not have their PG's do their job? I don't now that either. They got a veteran PG, let him do his freakin' job.

All those players listed I wouldn't want back. Need young players who are fast. That's how it is nowadays, especially point guards.

I'm surprised OP didn't ask if Heat still want Wade as well.

THIS IS WHAT I meant IDC if Eddie made 3 threes he also let Jason Terry shoot like it was practice I want young guards who can shoot and defend and just 2 quality big men

No. The only player who would even get regular playing time is Bibby, but when his shot isn't going down he is useless on both ends of the court. The other players are just a waste of roster space, and would be spending most of their time chilling on the sidelines. When they do get minutes they will be way too rusty due to how erratic the rotation is. It would be better to give the DNP spots to younger prospects who might have something to offer in the future.
