I cant stand Guida. I wanna see anyone and everyone knock him out.

I'd love for Guillard to knock Guida out, I just don't think it would happen.

There's no standout fight at this event per se, but I'm pretty interested in each of the last 10 events outside of Tito-Bader. This should be a fun night of fights.

Prediction-wise, I'm going w/:

Cruz - improved since their last fight, while Faber has declined
Wand - more technical striker
Bader - goes without saying
Condit - more dangerous on his feet, still dangerous on the ground
Wiman - looked great in his last fight, Siver was susceptible to TD's before G-Sot
Guillard - too athletic prolly, but Roller has plenty of ways to win
RDA - too athletic prolly
Bowles - a former champion, and Mizugaki is more of a gatekeeper
A-Train - has a wrestling advantage, but I feel worst about this one
Nojoke - stand-up battle, where No Joke is more technical

RZ, did you put any money against G-Sot for this event?

I'm looking at bets now, shying away from most of them though. You?

I have been off the last event or two after a hot streak.

That's smart not to get carried away because you've been hot lately. That can lead to some bad decisions. Got to be selective.

I bet 30 on Dos Anjos. +200 was way too good to pass up. G-Sot is still being overrated even after the loss, and I think RDA matches up pretty well here with his athleticism.

Also bet 10 on Handsome Matt. He looked awesome in his last fight and I think Siver is being overrated off G-Sot overrated-ness.

Simpson better not win for wall and stall, brief TD's, and coming forward.

Edit: He did, 30-27, ala Guida over Pettis.

The unified rules need to be made clearer so the guy who has control but does less damage doesn't get awarded anymore.

G-Sot is just too slow in this sport and was always MASSIVELY overrated for beating a low class of opponents where he had match-up advantages against them.

Congratulations to me on my winnings.

I'm not going to spoil the result for you, but F.Y.I., that's not a live fight.

That about what was to be expected. Guillard danced around and got angles on Roller. Roller threatened with a couple big strikes. But Guillard eventually got the KO.

I wish you would accept all this free money I'm giving you. I don't advise you to bet unless I have a great read that one guy or another will win. I think I'm still batting 1.000 on those 8-10 picks or so, mostly underdogs.

:o What a sic KO by Condit. If I had to pick somebody to win that one, it would have been Condit, but I thought that was going to be a real real close fight.

Carlos VS GSP will be an awesome fight. Forget Diaz, we should just do this one.

Yesssssssssssssss!!!!!!

Next stop for the Natural Born Killer is a shot at GSP for the title.

RZ, Pettis will bounce back from a loss in his octagon debut and quickly rise up the ranks in the same way as Condit. DHK had a very Guida-esque approach where he was going to counter-shoot, but unlike Pettis, Condit was much more careful with his striking throwing fakes to not making him so susceptible to a TD, and when he did get taken down he went for the sweep instead of working BJJ. The adjustment will quickly be made by Pettis from getting over octagon jitters and learning what it takes to win against these UFC lay and prayers.
