Maybe it was the perception that he got rocked. I thought he was just off balance. Still would conflict with the judging precedent regardless though. A-Train got hurt more, and took Tavares down less, and held him down for shorter periods, with less G&P, and yet still won a 30-27 UD. I don't get it. I would love for this to signal a change in the judging criteria, but I'm sure it was just an anomaly.

Yeah, Wand has a thin glass chin. He was tagging Leben with precise punches, but he can't take one punch. A poor man's Kongo-Barry.

Wandy's just been through too many wars man. And the sport is passing guys like that by. You can't just recklessly run in 3 sheets to the wind anymore. It's too bad, his entire UFC career has had a couple moments, but by and large, the guy has never even been close to the guy he was back in pride.

I don't like Faber nearly as much at this weight. Body-wise, he looks like a little kid. He had baboon strength at 145. Being out-classed by Aldo and a couple of fluke losses to Brown was not reason to hit the eject button, IMO.

Quick hands and feet, mixes up his strike, gets angles by constantly switching. Some people are booing but I'm really enjoying watching him.

Was there really some boo's that I heard in the 2nd round?? I sure hope that's just because Cruz is public enemy # 1 and not because the fight "isn't exciting enough"

Cruz is basically working him other than a moment here or there for Faber.

Cruz needs to drink a 5 minute energy at the next break.

I could probably be persuaded to give round 4 to Faber...

1st round for Faber. He needs a finish, or at least 10-8, on my card.

We really don't need expert judges for this one Joe. There were 3 pretty clear rounds for Cruz imo.

1 that Faber "probably" won in the 4th and then the 5th was a toss up at worst...

3-2 Cruz minimum.

Edit: Great fight BTW

And Cruz should move up to face Edgar :)

49-46 Cruz.

Joe always tries to contrive drama. He did the same thing in the Aldo-Hominick fight acting like Hominick was landing enormous shots that were about to finish Aldo, which was required to come back.
