Ellis -$11,000,000

Denver does it to improve its perimeter defense- ET is one of the better young defenders in the league- and because we believe Evan has superstar potential. Okafor is a good fit with Scola, and is does all the things we need from a center. James Jones was expendable.

+ 2013 1st, top 8 protected.

Golden State Warriors Trade

Nick Young - $7,400,000
Ronnie Price - $854,389
Total = $8,254,389 (*1.25+100k = $10,417,986)

Why for Utah? We save some money now and in the long run. Give up some guys I like, particularly CJ Miles, but conscious I'm only a small market team. Nick Young is a good scorer that replaces some of the back court depth I lose.

Pistons accept. The Piston's bring back the prodigal son "Tay". Piston fans get to save a little money of jerseys too! Ha. But seriously, we add a killer on defense who is long, athletic and able to shoot the 3-ball. Our Prince and Ariza tandem will pay dividends in slowing down the games most prolific wing players.

The Toronto Raptors have a trade to announce with the Cleveland Cavaliers...

Toronto IN/Cleveland OUT: JJ Hickson ($2,354,537)

Cleveland IN/Toronto OUT: Ed Davis, rights to #21 pick Lucas Nogueira ($2,063,040)

Toronto accepts. JJ Hickson fits the makeup of this team better than Ed Davis, who we are extremely sad to lose. JJ will be our starter and will take Davis' place in our young core. With this move we feel we are closer to our rebuild than ever. good dealings Cavs.

While JJ is a young, talented big, we were going to have to throw a boatload of money at him in a year. We like Davis's hustle and will be locked up for several years on a decent rookie deal. We also love the potential of Nogueria. Cavs took a chance several years ago on a Brazillian big and we hope to repeat that process.

NYK and CHI have a trade to announce:

*Before the trade, the New York Knicks release Jamario Moon

TO NYK:
Jarrett Jack ($5,000,000)
Marcus Thornton ($8,000,000)

Total: 13,000,000 * 1.25 = 16,250,000

TO CHI:
Baron Davis ($13,900,000)
2012 LAL 1st
2015 NYK 1st

Total: 13,900,000

Deal works.

NYK accepts. We really don't like losing 2 1sts in the same deal, but we couldn't pass this up. Jack, while overpaid, is a decent backup and will receive 15-20 minutes off the bench from us. I am a huge fan of Thornton, and he proved that he can score and do lots of things since he's been in Sacramento. In SAC this year, he was 21/5/3/2, where he proved to be a great all-around player that I love to have on my team. He is also only 24, with room to grow. Nice dealing Chicago.

Deal accepted.

In thorton welost a young talent but the Grant Hill deal gave a short term replacement. Plus a starting PG was a bigger need. Hopefully Davis with the Old Big Three of Garnett Pierce and Allen can have a resurgence until Kemba Walker is ready.

Just got a veto on this deal. Please don't include any of the players or picks involved in deals until this trade is approved/denied. I'll inform you if there are more vetoes.

GSW and CHI have agreed to a trade:

GSW trades/CHI receives:
Marcus Camby - 12 886 332
Austin Daye - 1 929 600
total = 14 815 932 *1.25 + 100K = 18 619 915
+ 2013 and 2014 GSW 1sts

CHI trades/GSW receives:
Paul Pierce - 15 333 334

Paul Pierce is another all star we can pair with Paul/Love..

those 2013 and 2014 picks will probably low anyway since we're a contending team..

so, the salaries match up; both teams agree to the deal... which manager was trying to get Hickson or Davis? that's all i see it boiling down to. of all the bogus trades i've seen, there's no other reason for a veto here.

NYK accepts. We had a glut of PG's and this got rid of that. We really like Eyenga, as well as Brown. We feel Brown can be a 15 PPG scorer if he got more playing time. He is also super athletic, which helps our team. We get 2 picks, which is good because we were low on those. We also feel that Davis can be a nice player off our bench, a '6th man' from the PG spot.
