Hinrich is a pure scorer, sort of a tweener thanks to his size and JJ is another pure scorer

I know Devin Harris is a scorer as well, but 2 is always better than 1, would you rather have Arenas or Ryan Anderson, both would also be expendable

Check DX's measurement history. They both measured at 6'7 1/4" at the combine, with almost identical standing reaches.

Also, Paul Millsap's career low PER is on par with Bass' career high. Gtfo. If he was as good as you're suggesting, why trade him? Because he has all this ability to play center and you don't need a center? Riiiight.

Also, according to hoopdata, Millsap shot 44% on long 2s this year and 45% last year on significantly more shots than Bass, who shot 47% and 43% respectively. Since efficiency and volume are usually inversely proportional, we can surmise that Millsap is at worst his equal, but its more likely that he is a bit better.

I'm sorry, but you need to learn the NBA a little more, son. This is a terrible deal. You can't trade trash for quality unless Chris Wallace is on the other end of the phone. Go play somewhere else.

lol... everyone pretty much summed it up. Also I doubt the hawks would do this trade. They've been after a legit C forever now since they want to move Horford to PF. Not to mention they wanted to move Hinrich to open up time for Teague, so getting 2 more pgs would not work for them.

This trade fails

edit: Also doesnt Orlando want to play Arenas more? possibly start him? If so ORL trades 4 bench players for 2 starters.... :o, No one but ORL would do this trade
