Bargs can go **** himself in that situation as far as I'm concerned.

I think Bargs can go **** himself in any situation as far as anyone's concerned.

Next years draft look pretty deep to me.

I'd be very happy with either Gilchrist or Barnes.

Michael Gilchrist doesn't sound very confident in front of a microphone...

I actually forgot about him, but yea he is definitely a option, I hope hes closer to 6'8 when the draft comes. 4 prime SF options in the lottery should make next draft a lot easier leading up to unlike this last 1. Luckily I think we were still able to land a great player dis this yr.

i think that Perry Jones is the guy dude. This is WAY early to be throwing names out there, but i think he's the 'star' in the making

I was really hoping he would stay in the draft this year, we had a very good chance to draft him (although we ended up getting a guy with a lot of upside and a more defined position that was a big need for us in Jonas, so I'm certainly happy with the way things turned out). Next year will be a make or break year for him. I just don't think he's a big man at all (in terms of his mindset), and it's going to be even harder to see him playing his type of game with Quincy Miller likely going to come in and start at the 3.

Yeah I agree. I like Perry Jones a lot and his upside is crazy but I think if he's going to be successful this upcoming year at Baylor and in the NBA, he needs to learn to become more of a banger on the inside. Defensively and offensively he needs to stop being afraid of contact and also needs to learn to rebound the ball better. Thanks to his height, I think he can be a successful SF/PF tweener in the NBA but he's also gotta add some bulk to his frame. Plus with Miller coming to Baylor, I think Jones will see a lot more PF minutes than at SF. If he adapts to the PF position, I could see him becoming Chris Bosh type player.

And I have a weird feeling that he will be drafted by the Bobcats. Don't know why but I can't shake it.

wow, if those measurements are true, Wroten is a monster PG at 6'6.5" with shoes, 204lbs with a 6'8" wingspan.

Beal is somewhat underwhelming at just 6'3.5" with shoes, 196lbs, with a 6'7" wingspan.... in fact Rivers is actually bigger than him then at 6'5" with shoes, 203lbs with the same 6'7" wingspan.

Terrence Jones is an impressive 6'9" in shoes with a 7'2" wingspan, although I wonder if 249lbs is a bit much for him. Makes me think he'll lean more towards being a PF than a SF, which is probably where he has more of an advantage with his skillset.

Barnes also a solid 6'8.5" in shoes, 223 lbs, with a 6'11" wingspan.

Right now Anthony Davis seems like Anthony Randolph...same skinny frame, great athleticism, excellent length, and a comfort level handling the ball. Hopefully Davis is smarter and is able to realize more of his potential as a player.

Right now, Austin Rivers seems like a chucker to me. Until he proves he can score efficiently and pass the ball, he shouldn't be in the conversation here.

God no.

He's a two guard (which shouldn't be our first priority) and a chucker to top it off.

No Anthony Davis. I want big guys to actually play their size.

Too much trouble that goes along with drafting tweener big men who play smaller than their size.

How much have you watched? He plays inside from what I've seen. The fact that he can dribble and pass shouldn't be seen as "trouble." He looks like the best talent to me.

If Andre Drummond isn't eligible, then I think Davis definitely has the most potential out of next year's class.

Saying that, I would still take Barnes first, assuming Drummond isn't available.

Barnes was a bust last year for NC. To me he's still in wait & see mode. I'm not sure why he's gotten so many votes, other than the fact that he's someone people have seen play. Kind of like the Kemba-factor.

That Woj tweet from earlier this summer probably helped his cause, too, as ridiculous as that seems.

He wasn't that much of a bust last year. He came on strong for them in the 2nd half of the season and he was clutch. He won quite a few games for UNC. I still wasn't really impressed with him though. He looks like he wants to defer a lot of the time to a lot of the lesser talent on the team.

What?! Barnes was no bust. Sure, the first 18 or so games he started out slow but he picked things up considerably and finished strong.

Had he stayed in the 2011 draft he would've been considered for the #1 pick and would've gone no later than #3.

I called this very early when he decided to go back for another year but if I had to put money on it I'd say Barnes is the best player in college next season.
