I believe this also means he can not be traded until a few months after the season starts.

At one point we had Wesley Matthews, Ronnie brewer, Kyle korver, and cj miles on the team.

In a thousand years I wouldn't have guessed cj would be the last man standing of the group.

I'm just happy that we have burks and Hayward on the roster, if all we had were miles and bell, I'd have nothing to look forward too from our wings.

Cj is what he is and will forever be - when he is on, he is awesome, just doesn't happen consistently enough. Life of a streaky shooter
But he is our best option to start next season next to G time

I'm perfectly fine with him around. Corbin is all about open competition for playing time. If CJ isn't cutting it he won't be out there. If someone else is the better player, great.

Right now Bell/Miles is the Jazz second lineup at the wing. That's not an ugly backup lineup to have at 2-3. There certainly are worst things out there... and Miles is a very nice "veteran" and solid character for the new kids to be around. Jazz made a good call in my eyes.

D Locke had a few things to say after the Jazz extended CJ.
He said: Only 3 Jazz players who played 1000 mins last yr had positive +/- CJ Miles (1.30) Earl Waston (.30) & Paul Millsap (.26) per 48 min

Of Jazz Players 1000 min CJ had the best on the floor VS off the floor +/-

CJ Miles Adjusted +/- last 3 yrs is pretty good

Thats funny....As for CJ i say give him minutes at the 3 and 2. Rotate Burks, CJ and Hayward. When CJ had more minutes he played better. He seemed to get to the hoop more and get into the flow of the game better. When his minutes were limited he tried to earn them with 40 foot bombs from the outside.
