he's probably gonna be 6'11 or 7 feet in shoes by the time he's done growing with a pretty good wingspan and the skill set of a 3. i don't think he's ever gonna be a very good defender by nba standards but i think worst case he is gonna be a turk like player but he has a chance to be much much better.

To me Saric looks much closer to 6-8... maybe 6-9, and he's probably ended his growth, like most 17 year olds.

It reminds me of when Rubio was 6-3 at 15 and people here wrote he's 6-5 who's going to be 6-7

he measured out just over 6-10 in shoes at the nike hoop summit about 3-4 days before his 17th birthday...given that people can still grow past the age of 20 i don't think it's unreasonable to think he will grow another 3 quarters of an inch to 2 inches.

Ok, thanks.
He looks shorter to me from the way he moves, and from how fluid he is. With this measurements it makes him an even bigger prospect than I thought. A legit SF in the NBA. Sort of a Durrant type of player, only less of a shooter and more PG skills... not that there are many of that "type". Actually it's only Durrant and maybe Saric.

Amazing player, unreal potential. People sometimes say a player can play all 5 positions, and it's usually BS, but with this kid, it's really a possibility, at least right now. Obviously, it will be more like 2-3 positions once he's a complete player, but right now, amongst players who 2-3 years older than him, he can literally play all 5 positions. :o

He looks pretty slow. If he comes to the NBA, he's going to be a forward. How is his rebounding?

He will be a PF for sure. He doesn't possess the quickness to play SF. As a PF, he must add more muscle to play the position.

His rebounding is pretty good. For NBA, he'll have to get stronger. He's 17, so he has time to work on this.

So, like, a point PF? Maybe a bit like Boris Diaw?

He may be 6'10'' but moves and plays like a perimeter player. He is going to be a SF in the NBA. I don't think he needs to pack muscle. Probably a top pick in the 2013 draft.

completely agree, he's not a pf in the nba imo, he is a 3...sure he will be able to play minutes at the 4 depending on the match up e.g if he was matching up against a jeff green, reshard lewis, no offense 4's etc

Yea, i don't think he's slower than say Gallinari, and looks more fluid than the italian with the ball.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Is he similar to Mike Dunleavy Jr.?

Not really. Now he looks like a carbon copy of Bodiroga, just slightly bigger.

first, pleas don't take th out of context, i'm not saying he is going to be new bird, or that he will reach that level....but more i watch him. his combination of skills, height, iq, court vision, competitivnes, toughnes aproch game and playing stayle reminds mi bit of larry bird with bit worse shoot, better and fluid handle

some peple asked for reabounding...at levels he played so far it was great....long wing span, good positionig, toghes, good feal, and fighting efort help's him being great at levels he faced for now

defenetly has some questionmarks in his games, but unlike lot of over hyped players that shined in one tournamet or shw case he defenetly has unique talent....hopefully he will stay on groud and manege translate his game at highest levels

I liked what I saw from him in the U19. Looks more polished as a scorer. There's no question he's spectacular for his age.

Yea, the footage from the recent U19 World championships show a pretty well-rounded player. I like his chances. If he can keep it up he'll mos definitely be a lottery pick.

He's a lock for a lotto pick. The mocks already have him in there. He's a constant triple double threat and dominated some good competition (with Croatia beating the US and Lithuania) at the U19s at age 17. He was fourth in scoring, 3rd in rebounding, and a top assist man this tourney being one of the youngest players there.

He looks like he could be a Dirk Nowitzki/Toni Kukoc hybrid. He has a great attitude, work ethic, and a lot of passion for the game. He'll be a top-5 pick in the 2013 or 2014 draft for sure (even with his large buyout).

I definately want to see more of him but I just have so much skepticism about any Euro being the "next big thing".

From what I am reading, maybe a Hedo or Toni Kukoc type of player, maybe even better?
