But MLS Soccer hardly has that in the way of already established forums.
I know of two or three, but not at the level of NHL, NFL and MLB.
I agree though, the forum would be slow... I'm just dreaming.

I would suggest forums set up in the following way:
General Soccer Discussion
FIFA Tournaments
AFC Tournaments & Leagues
CAF Tournaments & Leagues
CONCACAF Tournaments & Leagues
CONMEBOL Tournaments & Leagues
OFC Tournaments & Leagues
UEFA Tournaments & Leagues
CD Chivas USA
Chicago Fire
Colorado Rapids
Columbus Crew
DC United
FC Dallas
Houston Dynamo
Los Angeles Galaxy
Montreal Impact
New England Revolution
New York Red Bulls
Philadelphia Union
Portland Timbers
Real Salt Lake
San Jose Earthquakes
Seattle Sounders FC
Sporting Kansas City
Toronto FC
Vancouver Whitecaps

I feel like this set up we have currently in one forum is fine for now, but as we grow so should the areas we can post in. I know not a lot follow MLS, but even having separate forums for each confederation would help. It's a North American forum and we should focus on MLS.
Never going to happen, but I can dream.
That is way too big. We have about 20 guys who regularily post on this board.

Might think of making 3 different forums. Anything else is way too big.

Congrats guys. I'm going to try and be more active around here. To be honest, I kind of forgot this forum existed.

Re: May I have your attention please?
^This reminds me of something.
I once asked Howard to make a public announcement that we do have a soccer forum and its pretty active and he said he'll surely look to do it sometime.
I feel there's a lot more potential to this board with the growing Euro fan base for NBA. Just that not many people do know the existence of this forum.
You guys might want to ask him again.

I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

This has it's attraction and posters would casually find what they wanted which could attract some in itself but I too think it is too big. The "regions" seem very well; that with a USA (not MLS, and I'm not sure if that is the correct way to lable it.) I think might be a bit double coverage but would be a good line up.
But what do I know, I have been an off and on poster in soccer for years. Though the last two years I have dramatically shifted my fan interest to soccer. (though I'm very current with basketball many many years)
Thanks for the chatting. I appreciate the thought of this subject.

one more thing. It doesn't matter if one region gets little to no interest. It catagorizes and brings together group interest in other more specific areas...right? Thats what a board is all about.
If the "USA" section gets all the postings then of course it could add a LA galaxy and Real board or MLS, or Western/Eastern division, whatever,, in the future.

Will definitely ask just before the season starts

Will need a lot more posters for that, but of course it may work in the future.

I don't think it matters if it's too big. Ozzy's way is structured really well and with a seperate section, it'll attract interest eventually. If you look at the NHL or NFL forums, they're pretty dead as well. They've been gradually growing. With a sport like soccer that has many fans around the world, I think it's a good idea.
