Lockout and NBA2k

A little off topic but would the lockout mean for NBA2k and EA Sports basketball games?

They would still come out with 2k12. There just wouldn't be updating rosters, but people will buy it to help fill the void during a lockout.

^^ My little brother is obsessed with creating himself and doing the career mode stuff. He'll be crushed.

As long as Call of Duty is on schedule, I'm good.

After the 1st modern warfare, Call of Duty sucked. Battlefield 3 gonna be way better.

Assuming the lockout isn't finalized by the time the game's publishing deadline rolls around, it'll be interesting to see how the game handles to-be free agents and salary caps and stuff like that.

On a side note - I saw a rumor online (albeit from a website I've never heard of) that Bird and Magic will be on the cover and that the side games will revolve around them. Anybody else heard anything or can confirm/deny?

That's what the employee from Gamestop said, might have to try it out.

I liked what I saw from EA's demo. The new controls were marvelous and far superior to any NBA game I've seen. What the players did was actually pretty intuitive.
