Redskins to pursure Cullen Jenkins

In a shocking development, the Redskins plan to spend money this off season going after Asomugha and Cullen Jenkins. Meh, I'd rather Jenkins go there than some team that is a threat.

Perfect. Where careers go to die.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Would be typical of the Redskins to mortgage their future and throw big money at an aging oft injured (missed 17 games the past 3 seasons) player like Jenkins lol.

Don't get me wrong I like Jenkins,he's still a solid player and he made some big plays in the playoffs and I'd like to see him return, but only for a fair price and what he is worth.

But you know a team like the Redskins will over pay..

You could argue he's a top 3 DE in a 3-4, so he will get paid a lot. I wish we could have him around for another year. He is an absolute stud rushing the passer and I think the D will take a step back without him. They really didn't come into their own as a unit until he was healthy last year, IMO.

Agreed, He can still be dominate (just about single handedly won the 49ers game for us). Don't think he wants to be here because we didn't extend him last year and we're not going to get in a bidding war with anyone over anyone including Jenkins.

He will be missed and I can't think of a better place for him then the Skins.

While I like Neal quite a bit based on the little I saw, I will say that assuming we lose Jenkins, I will have some trepidation about the DL until I see Neal do it over a full season. Jenkins was huge in getting pass rush for us last year, absolutely huge. I'm not overly concerned about it, but overall pass rush with losing Jenkins and not having addressed full-time ROLB is something to watch heading into next year.
