The Timberwolves have asked the Trail Blazers for permission to interview assistant coach Bernie Bickerstaff for their soon-to-be vacant head coaching position, and president Larry Miller gave the OK late last week.

Agreed BB was at his prime coaching/gm wise in the mid 90's. way past it now imo.

Who do you guys think the wolves should target?? i'd love them to hire Sam Cassell...not just for the lolz either, he always screamed head coach to me & has a history with Minny/Glen Taylor.

They do. From what I read, they're thinking about hiring BB so his son can take over for him in a few years.
