Anyone hear any news on the lockout situations?

Stern is a jerk. Threatens to fine anyone who talks about the lockout and then doesn't give a press conference of the situation. Come on stern, dont forget the fans.

I guess nothing is set in stone as far as the order of who would pick where in the draft if the whole season is lost to the lockout. I don't have the sources on hand but I read a few different places that the NBA would have final say over how the order of the draft would be determined and so far they haven't given any indication as to how they would do it.

So I guess things are up in the air for now...

i say, if the season is legitimately in peril, than the nba simply CHANGE the season. make JAN 1 the new JUL 1. make APR 1 the new NOV 1. compete directly with baseball and the other summer sports. it's a summer olympic event anyway. when the olympics happen, post pone the league for 2 weeks and start the season a week early, and end it a week late.

the playoffs can compete directly with mlb's playoff, finishing somewhere around thanksgiving. the draft can be the week before christmas. let the players actually be with their families not having to worry bout their jobs till the new year.

prolly wont ever happen, but it's better than driving through january's in portland, salt lake, denver, minneapolis, milwaukee, chicago, cleveland, detroit philly, ny, and boston.

Superbowl and then directly to the start of basketball! Brilliant! Actually I really like it. Takes away the warm locations edge over the colder ones.
Hmmmm...
horrid humid vs. 'it's a dry heat.'
lol
do it!
