I think he weighed in at 240+ actually lol..and a legit 7 foot. I loved the Shump pick though when we made it...completely agree with

Whats interesting from a positional standpoint is that it appears that Kawhai Leonard (a SF type) WOULD have been drafted by NY (had he been around) but Singleton (also a SF type), wasn't enough for them to pass on Shumpert to take. So it could very well be that they just weren't impressed with Singleton and not just because they didn't see him with playing time because of the position he projects to play. Reports that Singleton's workouts with the Knicks were kinda blah (from an energy standpoint) probably didn't help him any.

Well thats because Leonard is better and has a much higher ceiling then singleton does. Singleton ismt a great rebounder, isnt really that athletic, not really that strong, not much offensive skill...Not much upside. No handles... I think he is pretty much close to his ceiling.

Leonard on the otherhand is a gym rat and has a crazy high motor while being in great physical shape. He can also handle the ball and has some offensive skills. He is also a good defender, not as good as singleton but still good.

Leonard slipped, but at the end of the day i think he have one of the best careers in the draft when its all said and done.

wet from corner three these days? lol dantoni just creamed. now if shumperts makes sure to ignore defense so he can run back on offense he will be guaranteed big minutes from dantoni.

Was browsing through DX and saw an updated best-case for Shumpert. DX now pegs his ceiling as a 6 5" version of Kyle Lowry.

For the 17th pick a "weak" draft, I would gladly take a 6 5" Lowry.

That's kind of a weird way to make a comparison, since being 6 inches taller drastically changes what a player can do. Imagine a 7-foot Reggie Miller ffs.

The draft express guy watches these players all year. But he's just making predictions, he doesn't claim to be always right.

Predictions suck. Always gunna have one guy saying player is going to be awesome and another saying he will be a scrub. No diff than reading posts on here. Some got fields=pippen jordan=dikembe shumperts=kobe harrleson=lambeer and others got fields=brunson jordan=sene shumperts=deshawn harrleson=cardinal lol. So i mean cant we just ignore all that bullcrap and wait to see them play. Aint no use in predictions cause whose do you trust. At the end someone gunna be right but who knew that person was right back then. You dont. So let em play ignore this stuff. Not gunna get all excite because someone thinks shumperts is kobe and i aint gunna get all mad cause someone said shumperts is deshawn when we got no idea what its gunna be.

So what? It's entertaining to read an expert's best guess.

Draftexpress has had that 6'5 Lowry comparison for a while now. And yes, I'd take that easy.

Kyle Lowry is a very underrated PG, i think hes one of the best perimeter defenders in the league....if he can be more consistent on the offensive end, you'd hear his name more often...

And even though Lowry is more of a PG, and i'd like Shumpert to be a SG, i'd take that as well.
