Third baseman Jose Bautista left Thursday night's game after the fourth inning after twisting his right ankle, and he is listed as day to day.
Bautista sustained the injury while sliding into third base as Edwin Encarnacion hit into an inning-ending double play. Bautista appeared to get the cleats on his right foot caught in the dirt as he slid into the bag, and he rolled his ankle.
The 30-year-old lay flat on the ground for several minutes after the slide, in considerable discomfort, though he walked off the field under his own power.
