Re: Giants at Padres
Hector Sanchez called up, Burrell to the DL.
We'll probably see Sanchez behind the plate with Zito tomorrow.

Re: Giants at Padres
So the Giants are gonna go with three catchers right now?
I heard Sanchez's defense is very poor, but he's not bad offensively. Also his K/BB ratio this year is really weird. In Fresno he has 9 BBs and 13 Ks, but he had 5 BBs and 41 Ks in San Jose. Wonder which version we'll get.

His defense is a work in progress as our most catchers at 21 years old. Offensively he's pretty much like Pablo with a little less power.

Re: Giants at Padres
That's a lot of optimism you got there if you think he's comparable to Pablo.
Also, seems kinda weird to me that the Giants went with Sanchez over Belt, especially since the minor league coaches have been saying Sanchez needs a lot more seasoning in Triple A.

Re: Giants at Padres
we only scored 2 runs anyway, Zito was awful but 2 runs probably wouldn't have won it even if Zito was alright.

I love to beat the Padres, especially when we beat them at their own game. Go Manny!

We're 3.5 games up in the NL West. It looks like the Diamondbacks are our only threats. Woo!
