EDIT: #11
Indiana and Golden State have agreed to a major trade:
Indiana Out/Golden State In
Danny Granger $12,015,904
Lance Stephenson $810,000
12.8 x 1.25 = 16
Golden State Out/Indiana In
Klay Thompson $2,284,250
Dorrel Wright $3,823,000
Ryan Gomes $4,000,000
Charlie Bell $4,447,792
2013 Golden State 1st
= 14 555 042
Pacers accept. This is good return for Granger, in my eyes. I didn't get that star shooting guard that I wanted, but I got several rotation players and replaced the pick I traded earlier - this should set me up fairly well to make another move in the near future for some upgrades in the post and on the wing. It hurts loosing Stephenson as well, but I feel this is the right direction for my team.

Houston and Utah have a trade to announce.
Houston IN/Utah OUT: CJ Miles ($3,700,000)

Houston accepts. We add some depth to our SF spot. Miles will be our new starter, while Budinger will be his primary backup.
**Prior to trade Houston waives the cap holds of Yao Ming, Jake Tsakalidis, Maciej Lampe, Frederic Weis, Torraye Braggs, Mark Jackson and Dikembe Mutombo.

Confirmed. Miles just didn't have any minutes available for him with the newly acquired Chris Singleton. We like Patrick Patterson a lot, he should be a real solid backup for Favors. This move also gives us flexibility to move the underrated Paul Millsap. Good dealings Houston!

Philly and Denver have a trade to announce.
Danillo Gallinari -$4,190,182
for
Evan Turner -$4,947,840
Why for Philly?
Gallo is the better fit next to Iggy & Holiday + he's also 22, but has more experience.

Denver accepts. Evan gives us a potential future superstar on a rookie contract for the next few years. He will play SF, where we think he can play great defense and develop into a very, very good scorer and distributor.

Miami and Lakers agree to a trade
Miami will sent
Armon Johnson $788,872
Chris Bosh $16,022,500
totals: $16,811,372 x 1.25% + 100,000 = $21,114,2115
Lakers trade
Pau Gasol $18,714,150
Matt Barnes $1,906,200
totals: $20,620,350
Miami doe sthis simply because we think Pau is a better fit. I am not sure Bosh and LMA could work together. Pau and LMA make a much better pair. Barnes is a solid role player
Sorry about the delay, I haven't/won't have internet access in the afternoons for the next few days.
LAL accepts. Although we like Gasol's length, Bosh brings similar length. The big key is that he is cheaper, and we save money, which helps for a team near the hard cap like us. He is also younger, and we feel a better 2nd type option that we need.

Although he won't be here this year, we won't be competing for anything this year anyway, so what the hell

Detroit confirms this deal. We do acquire some future assets (Picks) and a nice young SF - stretch 4 prospect in Luke Babbitt (great shooter) and take a risk on B Roy. If he returns to 70% it is a steal for a 3 time Allstar. Beyond that, Brandon & others bring a new Culture to the Pistons which is important to our future. The old guard were so far removed from the Glory Bad Boy days that we need to infuse the organization with optimism.

TRADE #15: Raptors agree. Valenciunas is a premier talent, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to add our future PG in Brandon Knight and some nice bench pieces in Casspi, Gibson, Erdan, Samuels, and Harris. We also like the two extra picks in a deep 2012 draft.

The Timberwolves accept. We were really worried about the upcoming free agency of Beasley. Instead, we sacrificed a bit of Mike's offensive potential for Trevor's defensive capabilities and his longterm security on a reasonable contract.
(This is trade #16)

Trade #17
Toronto Raptors and Houston Rockets have agreed to the following trade:
Houston receives:
PF Amir Johnson ($5,500,000)
Toronto receives:
PF Marcus Morris ($1,488,400)
C Jordan Hill ($2,855,760)
Raptors agree. This trade works because salaries match and we both have the available cap room. Raptors feel Amir is a great talent, but Ed Davis is our starting PF of the future. We get a young PF in Morris who can play the 3 as well. We also get a nice young big in Hill who can play the 4 and 5.

Houston accepts. We think Amir is a good backup big who could play a little C when we go small. In Hill, the Raptors get someone who looks like Ru-Paul. Nice deal Toronto.

Utah and Atlanta have a trade to announce:
Utah receives:
Kirk Hinrich (8,100,000)
Jeff Teague (1,579,920)
= 9,679,920
Atlanta receives:
Devin Harris (9,319,000)
Utah accepts. We think this is a pretty good return for a player that we just don't see in our future -- Harris. We get a young PG that showed in the playoffs he can be a starter in Jeff Teague. We also got a very solid vet PG in Kirk Hinrich who can help contribute for us off the bench and be a great mentor for this team. Good dealings ATL, very smooth!

Atlanta accepts. We're a playoff team, and we feel for the immediate future, Harris is a good upgrade.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

TRADE #19
New Orleans Hornets receive:
PG Jerryd Bayless ($3,042,280)
Toronto Raptors receive:
SF Quincy Pondexter ($1,153,800)
TRADE #20
New Orleans Hornets receive:
SF Linas Kleinza ($4,605,000)
Toronto Raptors receive:
Traded Player Exception ($4,605,000) (Peja Stojakovic)
Raptors agree to both these trades. Trade #19 works because NOLA has the avaialble cap room. We clear valuable roster spots and cap and get a young prospect in Pondexter.
