Yanks at Jays.. Clip dem birds..

Post#1 » by TKF » Thu Jul 14, 2011 11:46 pm

well we can chalk this game up to a loss.. an 8 run first inning with 3 balls never leaving the infield.. the nunez error led to this shelacking.. had he handled that ball the inning is over with just a 3 run lead for the jays.... my lord....

logan put the game out of reach, the jays have gotten more crucial infield hits than I have ever seen, just obscene to have to watch this... we need another lefty over boone..

:sigh: Damn...16-7. I thought the Yankees would like to be wined and dined before getting :censored:

Mitre...even in blowout games, he sucks.

It's official Sergio Mitre is the white flag...

The pitcher failed top to bottom. Don't know if Colon needs more stem cells or Mitichlorians from a Jedi but one thing is for sure he needs to mix up his pitches and stop relying on his meathead fast ball. Eight runs down in the first is atrocious.

While I wasn't happy with Boone Logan, he is the only dependable guy outside of Robertson. Hey Cash, some help in the pen for christ's sake?

You'd think with A-rod out, perfect opportunity to use that slot to boost some prospect value. I'm starting to believe PTI (for once) that Cashman doesn't want to be in NY anymore. He thinks he can be the next Billy Beane and resents that stigma.

I mean, forget Jeter for a minute. Teixiera is hitting an atrocious .245 get some live bats who will see the ball with interest and will try to pull the ball or settle for a single. The consistency is daunting.

cash has fallen in love with his prospects and is now over-protective of them...its a bad combination....he needs to get a SP, RP, and some sort of a 3b

Some pop in the bat wouldn't hurt at all.

Yup, the young man's velocity looked good. Selections were brilliant. Granderson was tearing the cover off the ball with Gardner using his speed on the turf.

Salvaging a 2-2 split is fine but I am very interested to see how the Yanks respond in Tampa.

CC's agent is taking not of that, if CC continues this way he will be a sure fire Cy young winner this year unless they vote in another pitcher with a 12-17 record , but played on a bad team..LOL

I thought he looked real good. More like the guy who won 18 games. His velocity is where it should be.
