.... is it not always?

That was damn cool - I flick in and out of WWE every few years - when I was about 15 or 16 it was the "invasion" days with Booker T / Rock show down. I really was into it as Stone Cold was dropping out (I never really saw him in his "prime days" so to speak, just the odd reappearance). Big rivalries I remember was Benoit/Rock, Rock/Shane then after that the Invasion at which point I stopped watching for a while.

Came back and Cena was king, HHH / Orton / Batista were a crew - then watched them break up which was cool. Then stopped watching again.

Might have to start lol.

Punk had the fans eating out of his hands last night. He was golden on the mic and carried that whole segment. As much as I hate Cena, he wasn't terrible.

But Punk must be on to something where he has Cena's hometown booing him..

Anyone have any predictions as to what goes down at Money in the Bank??

Lol, anyone hear the huge Colt Cabana chants on Raw? That was awesome, I'm sure the ROH fans were stoked about that... btw... my good friend Asoka interviewed Colt Cabana, if you guys haven't watched it yet... Asoka's new album "Before The Legend 4" is being released today @ his http://www.ReliveHipHop.com website... you guys should cop it... he's also the guy that does the Theme Music for the wrestler Sonjay Dutt... he also did an interview with Chris Hero and Sonjay Dutt on his website.

Also, It'd be dope if the WWE brought back the old Attitude Era "WWF Ice Cream Bars" as well lol

I have two predictions

1) Punk wins against Cena, and then the MITB winner challenges Punk and beats him. This will result in Cena not being fired, since Punk can't leave the company with the title.

2) McMahon screws over Cena, and helps Punk win. This will result in Cena being fired, and Punk being revealed to have conspired with Vince to get rid of Cena (including Punk actually signing a contract).
a) This will result in Cena getting a long leave of absence (break), and Punk going face, where he tells Vince that he actually didn't sign the contract; Punk goes tweener (Austin style), and since he's the WWE champion he can do whatever he wants in WWE (anti-authority).
b) This will result in Cena getting a long leave of absence (break), and Punk going super-heel by being aligned with Vince, and Cena will come back as a super-face to defeat Punk and McMahon.
c) This will result in Cena getting a long leave of absence (break), and Cena (when he returns) becoming a super-heel, feeling ousted and shunned by the very company and fans he worked his ass off for.
d) Triple H gets involved in the story, and ruins everything as always.

Btw, anyone catch the TNA Destination X PPV? ... The Ultimate X match was awesome... I also liked the RVD/Jerry Lynn match as well (brought back memories of their ECW matches/feud)... AJ Styles and Daniels put on another classic imo... I feel like TNA has been really good the past week... but if they still have Vince Russo writing for them, they'll never be consistently good imo... Dixie Carter has to fire that guy and hire Paul Heyman

TNA's ppvs are way better then all the WWE's ppvs so far this year but not surprising in my opinion and Destination X proved that I just hope they continue to push the X Division forward. As far as this whole CM Punk thing goes you all are setting yourselves up for disappointment if you think Punk ends up winning the match at the ppv this weekend he still doesn't have a contract renewed and if he doesn't get one the result will be him losing at the ppv. The Head of talent relations for the WWE needs to fired period the guy is terrible at scouting talent compared to JR who was 3 times better at it and honestly should be the head again and not sitting at home earning a paycheck for nothing -_-.

I am really thinking this Vince screwing over Cena thing could happen. Cena has been needing some time off for a while now hasn't he? Nagging injuries and what not. Either way I haven't been so excited for a PPV in a looooooong time!

Ever since this man left my interest in wrestling has dropped to 0% hahaha. Nothing is more entertaining than listening to the rock talk ish. He puts Cena in his place a couple days ago.

Any predictions? 1 hour till the PPV!

Here are mine:

WWE Championship: CM Punk (CM Punk then immediately loses to Raw MITB winner, Del Rio)

World Championship: Christian (Christian's underhand tactics finally prevail)

MITB Ladder Raw: Alberto Del Rio (Kofi should get this though imo, he needs another push)

MITB Ladder Smackdown: Wade Barrett (I could see Sin Cara, Cody Rhodes, or Sheamus winning it too)

Big Show vs Mark Henry: Big Show (Kane interferes to help Big Show overcome Henry)

Kelly Kelly vs Brie Bella: Kelly Kelly (Eh, who cares)

Outside of the screw-job fake, the finish looked a bit sloppy. Great match build-up, but so-so finish for me. Though, I wonder if they consulted with Bret to bring back that setup.

In terms of match quallity, I thought Taker and HBK's last two WM matches trump this. I just can't get over Cena touching down with his feet then falling to his face on the finish.

Good PPV overall...

Not many people can put on a match like UT/HBK. Cena has always sucked at selling anything, guess I'm just used to it.

It's going to be a must watch Raw.
-- As noted earlier here on eWrestlingNews.com, Vince McMahon will open RAW tonight to address CM Punk and the ending of the MITB PPV last night.

http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/headlines ... _Twist.php
John Cena posted the following on his Twitter account. This is obviously the latest STORYLINE twist. There will be a major follow-up on RAW:

"I have just been 'future endeavored'. Well..if that's how it is I would like to take a moment to publicly apologize to Dwayne 'the Rock Johnson. In an effort to make WM28 as big as possible I tried to expose rock for his flaws. Very childish and immature on my behalf. My comments about the rocks absence were both unprofessional and childish. I am sorry. Rock, I truly wish and still hope in my heart of Hearts that the crazy old man who is the boss reconsiders his totally rash decision. Because chicago was insane last night. And it made me think of what Miami could have been. I guess sometimes u do not know what u have until it is lost."

CM Punk 'Invades' WWE At Comic-Con
As noted earlier here on the website, CM Punk crashed the joint Mattel/WWE panel—WWE: Past, Present and Future—this afternoon at the San Diego Comic-Con, featuring Triple H, Rey Mysterio and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart.

Punk announced himself via bullhorn and then, with the WWE Championship in hand, sauntered to the designated question-asking microphone and began to speak. The Straight Edge Superstar took exception to WWE attempting to crown a new champion on RAW and then challenged Mysterio, or anyone else who wanted to be champ, to head out to Chicago to take him on.

Punk then asked Triple H and creative writer Brian Gewirtz why Zack Ryder wasn't on television. Triple H, in what appeared to be a kayfabe response, told Punk that things had changed on Raw and there was a new regime. He told Punk to give him a call. Punk responded by telling Hunter that he was certain Stephanie had his phone number. You can check out a few videos of this below.

LOL @ the Stephanie line
