What a brutal stretch after opening night! Next 5: ORL, @ MIA, @ ORL, CHI, @ LAL. 1-5, 2-4 at best!

Pretty brutal first ten games, home against Bulls and Celtics, @Miami, a West Coast swing including the Lakers and Nuggets, home-and-away against the Magic. And yet, I predict they won't lose a game.

You can't lose if there aren't any games :(

It would be great for the Wizards if the first 10 games get wiped out.

I'm really looking forward to that cancellation with the Lakers, scheduled November 15. Maybe AMC will have a good movie on that night.

That would be perfect, but . . .

There's a requirement that you make a gratuitous comment that the schedule is brutal. Fish did it. I did it. jholmbe1 did it in the other thread. Let's try to be consistent.

Any random 5 NBA teams would likely constitute a brutal opening schedule for the Wizards.

Look, I know we have sucked but come on. We got the #1 pick in Wall, a team that everyone says will at the least be exciting to watch, and we cant even get 1 scheduled Nationally Televised game? Not 1? Wall is worth 1 alone. It doesnt matter though. I like for us to be under the radar and for some reason this team hasnt had alot of heart to even show up for the National TV games in the past.

You would think thats when guys woud play there hardest because thats when the National Media & fans really get to see you & judge you but often Dray seems like he doesnt try & NY looks like a ball hog. Then they complain when the National media & fans from other places say thats what they are. Thats probably why we have no games

We got one against Toronto, the last game of the season on ESPN. And I don't count NBA TV as national TV like some others.

lol....IDK how I missed that. They just figure all the good teams will be resting for the playoffs so its not fun to watch but both us & Toronto will be playing to lose for lottery balls so it will be even worse...lol

Brutal start so maybe the lockout is a good thing.....lol

Seriously though, if we only play 50 games like the last lockout then that means the season starts on Jan. 8th but if not sure if thats exactly true because that would be with the normal sked but if I remember right, last time it was a condensed sked where teams were playing sometimes 3 games in a row because Im guessing the season started in mid to late Janurary. Dont know how that changes things.

AMC and the Wiz have 1 thing in common - they're both breaking bad.

Great channel, AMC, Nivek!

I watched Prisoner of Zenda a while back. Great flick. The lead actor did his own sword fighting and stunts. No CGI, SPFX, stunt men, blue screens, or green screens. Dudes actually had to roll with the punches. :)

I digress. I will definitely be more enculturated if there's no NBA. :)
