What? 5th best?

Dwight
Bynum
Bogut
Pau
Marc
Cousins
Hibbert
Chandler
Noah
Perkins
Nene
Horford

You can't find five guys in there better than Lopez?

I mean Howard is clearly first. I would take Lopez over Perkins, Hibbert, Cousins, Chandler, Noah, Horford and Nene with out ever thinking twice. I would say he is right there with Bogut and the Gasols. You act like Marc Gasol is some great rebounder he only averages one more then Lopez and Lopez is much better offensively. I would take him over Marc in most cases. Bogut and him are the same to me. Bynum is just potential, no consistency and cant stay healthy. And Pau is more a PF then a Center, but I would say he is better then Lopez.

There's another thing in basketball: Defense.

Al Jeff was drafted in 2004.....

Oh goddamn it. Now he's not available for any spot either. And neither are a couple more guys.

Yeah, as was just noted I did not pay attention to the year restriction, Jefferson is not eligible for any category.

Slam picked DeAndre Jordan who was drafted in '08.

Fooled the Scouts - player was selected in the 2nd round in 2006 or earlier

It looks like there are some exceptions.

Hm, Jordan shouldn't have been picked either.

I'd say our options are either to lift the year restrictions, or make both of those players re-draft.

Oops!!

I can always move Jordan to my southpaw cat - so no problem here.

So I guess as no valid pick was made since Slam should be picking again, right? And then Kemba2Hendo. Hopefully Slam will show up soon.

Well restrictions should be the same, some might considered those players sooner otherwise. Not me but still.

That was why I didn't notice - I nickname categories for my notes to organize players in them better and then I don't always realize when someone pick them for wrong category if they are still eligible somewhere else.

So, we're back to Kemba2Hendo to re-pick now that Slam has moved Jordan.

It's kinda not fair of us to single out the Lopez pick so much, but conveniently enough there is a thread going now about the top 10 centers:

Eh, typical post-title afterglow... besides Dirk, Chandler is the player getting the most overrated as a result of a good playoff run.

Zach Randolph, on the other hand, is a player who I always thought was good but got hated on until this playoffs.

No mention of Hibbert makes that list null and void, Hibbert is easily a top 5 TRUE Center in the league

I know you're probably talking about that thread, but I just listed ten or so centers who played good.
