Well if you really think about it it would have been real sweet if the Knicks would have been able to get both of them. Hope that it was true that they couldn't acquire another late 1st round pick (where Brooks went).

Heck, imagine if they could have merged Brooks offensive ability with Shumperts defensive prowess. :droop:

1:47 mark, I'd much rather have a guy with this attitude than Brooks. Iman's a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders. With Amare/Melo two of the top 5 scorers in the league, a guy with Imans intangibles and smarts is way more important than another scorer.

What veterans? I thought the Knicks player-organized camp wasn't until August.

So let me get this straight, the guy the literally KILLS the Knicks EVERY time he plays us, no matter what team he's on... Raptors, hornets, etc... is helping out our rookie? I like it, maybe Iman will get that "kill the knicks" mentality, except he's actually on our team so he'll kill the other team every night.

Sad it kinda sounds like a player who will not find playing time under dantoni unless theres no one else to play.

I'm impressed with the way this kid is seeking help from other NBA players and taking it upon himself to workout and improve his game this summer. Love it. Iman is a gym rat.

I dunno, something is suspect here i think. I just dont see that explosion that i see from Westbrook and Rose that his numbers indicate.

These are exactly my thoughts after watching his highlights. And in a couple occasions you expect him to dunk with authority and he just lays it in. I hope that highlights don't do him justice.

look at the move he does at :35 mark, its the same move Jamal Crawford and Derrick rose do. It's a nearly unstoppable crossover. I think penny hardaway did the same move. You dribble through your legs and hop forward to the left at the same time. if your opponent is still lined up with your body put your head down and go left. If your opponent cuts you off then you crossover right. Iman has the speed to pull that move off against anyone. I use that move against my friends all the time and I always get them.

Somehow that makes Shumpert's usage of it seem less impressive.

LOL, believe me its very effective. If your not impressed with my use of that move then here is Jamal doing it but crossing over right.

 I said that as reference to his ceiling.

Best case he's a more athletic Joe Johnson.

Most people don't understand the difference between speculating about a player's "ceiling" vs. predicting who in the league that player is most likely to be similar to.
