No. Yes. Tried to be something he wasn't, that something was being a head coach. Unemployed.

Just glad he's not the new Lakers coach now.

I think he'll find an assistant job some where at some point but when the lock out is over. Could be fishing with PJ after this.

He'll be with Phil in NY for the 2012-2013 season.

he's not a good headcoach but Phil himself couldn't coach that team to a playoff birth.

tbh i think he could be a good headcoach, it was stupid to play the triangle in minni, but well he never coached another system. Phil said that he thought Rambis was his perfect successor, not Shaw like many others said.
Very bad start in his headcoching career and it'll be difficult for him from now on

Yes he could have. They actually have players. PGs for days, K-Love (the reb machine), they had Big Al then Beasley

32-132 is laughable. Just based on that, he had to be fired.

who are these said PG? Ridnour, Session, Flynn you gota be kidding me, PG for days ...you just like the rest of the non Minn fan and just join the wagon about Kahn drafting/hording PG's. When they had Al, he was got in Love way, both dont play a lick of D, Al only played half a season after getting his contract with some ligament tear, and last years team was unbalanced, nobody played D their PG rotation was Ridnour/Junk and oft-injured Flynn, using a rookie SF to play SG, mutliple lenghty injuries to Beasly, Webster and Wellington. While Love did put up monster #'s the knock on him was he never challenged shots nor boxed out and stole rebs from teammates. This Minn team had more individual talent then the Laker team of kwame/smush but they did NOT have Kobe and that team barely made the playoffs so I'll stick to the premise even Phil himself couldn't get that team to a playoff.
