This would be a great way to go in future games and I think we can get most GMs on board.

Not gonna bitch about it, but just gonna quickly say why it shouldn't be vetoed. If Kees thinks Dwight's gonna leave and get no return for him, he has no choice but to trade him. I think he's getting a more than solid return. Jefferson's a legit 20/10 big, Deng puts up 18/6 and great D. Thornton averaged 21/4/3 in SAC and can still get better. Also included is the Pacers '13 1st, which can easily be a top 10 pick. AND not to mention he dumps the worst contract in the game in Arenas. Most importantly, these 3 guys are all locked in to fair contracts and are all 26 or under, which gives him great stability going forward. This is a reason why I almost backed out of it, would I rather be 100% sure of keeping these 3 fringe all-stars or 20% sure I keep Dwight?

Whatever though, it's done. Won't play next game unless the veto system's improved or just taken out.

Value is subjective and is in the eye of the beholder. So no real problem with that.

On game integrity when people state that like it is a foregone conclusion that a player will go to a certain team game integrity comes into question for me but I do understand it is hard to moderate.

My example of gaming a system and i don't think it applies here. a judge or agent who is known to be a big Derrick Rose and Durant fan is picked due to prior knowledge that person would put Dwight there over a team with Curry, Blake Griffin, Carmelo, Gordon. or one with Lebron Wade.

I think this game is stupid with these vetoes going through. They don't even affect me, but it's just making the game a joke. With that said, I'm done trading for the rest of the game. I'll do my writeup at the end, but that's it for me.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Exactly my point.

This is just ridiculous I cant even move dwight! I cant get rid of him no matter what I do! This was the best offer, the most fair, all of the rest favor the other teams more than this. I should not not be able to trade the 2nd best player in the league! this is just stupid. I'm done making trades this game and I'm not sure i'm coming back to these games. LET GMS BE GMS!

The vetoing system is only to prevent people from ruining games, and Im clearly not trying to do this. Im going to lose Dwight. That was the best offer. What more can I do??

I think people are blowing things our of proportion. For all you know people are vetoeing just to see infighting on this thread for entertainment value because the gameplay is slower. That would be unfortunate. If you get angry react or quit the game you are validating unnecessary vetoes. I hope you all stay in the game and take it as a challenge if you can win despite a few bumps.

You know, if so many GMs have a problem with the rules of the game (which I can easily understand why) then maybe you should all form a consensus and provide a solution to the problem to continue on with the game instead of bitching and threatening to "take your ball and go home".

Just sayin.

I'm not quitting this game cause even without Dwight, I still have a pretty good situation with WAS. CP3, Thornton, Deng, Jefferson, McGee, Gibson...I still somewhat have a shot at winning the game. So I'll stick around, still disappointed about my trade though. Anyways...

C - JaVale McGee
PF - Al Jefferson / Taj Gibson / Kevin Seraphin
SF - Luol Deng / Matt Barnes
SG - Marcus Thornton / Brandon Rush
PG - Chris Paul

Looking to deal. CP3's not getting traded unless I get a star. Deng, Jefferson, McGee will be pretty tough to get. Offer up for everyone though.

When i CANT even trade the 2nd best player in the league, something is very wrong. I understand a crap deal like Kobe for picks, or exp for Outlaw, but honestly, i cant even trade the 2nd best player? I understand not being able to trade a crap contract, but not even dwight, thats just plain wrong.

Indiana still looking to deal. I want upgrades, if possible, young players and cap space.
OTB: Darren Collison, Paul Millsap, Dorrel Wright, Expirings.
Would love to get a guy like Rajon Rondo. Wouldn't mind to add your "disgruntled star" (someone like Igoudala). Willing to listen to all offers. Point guards and power forwards are the most coveted as well as youth.
