Exactly. I think all players need to spend a full season in AAA before the Majors. Drabek has been the only real exception and look how that turned out.

I don't feel like risking a top prospects development to give a player a "rest"

Top pitching prospects aren't going to be sent to the PCL, so don't get your hopes up.

It's a hitters paradise.

agree 100%, yes it would be nice to see what the kid can do in the bigs but Benji is a good enough catcher who can call a game the right way.

Yeah, DHing a career .241/.287/.344 would be great.

Playing both catchers is really risky and why would you carry 3 catchers on a team ?

Molina is on this team because he can catch, thats all..... why would you want him as your DH?

his hitting as fringe at best... but he is a great catcher especially with the young guys.

Moline is here to catch.... not hit

Drabek was just sent to the PCL and he is a top pitching prospect.

And yes, it is a hitters paradise.

pitchers have absolutely adapted to JPA check out the number of sliders hes being throw and compare it to the number of times hes wiffing on sliders. Pretty simple.

Don't kid yourself.

Alex Anthopolous has made it clear that he does not like to send top pitching prospects to the PCL because it could potentially ruin their confidence. Why do you think Drabek, or Zach Stewart for that matter, was sent to the majors right from double A?

Doesn't make any sense, just allow D'arnaud to continue to develop. Molina has been great this year and if the Jays want to give JPA a break; Molina is the best bet.
