WWE T.V. Thread v.C.M.Punk

Post#1 » by Stanford » Thu Jul 21, 2011 8:38 pm

Let's start off with this!

http://tv.ign.com/articles/118/1183201p1.html#IGNSDCC

This may just be the best angle ever. We've got two sweet feuds going on right now off screen. Cena vs. Rock and WWE vs Punk.

It's awesome.

The prediction I made in the previous thread
My prediction is that there will be no new champ. That there will be a suprise appearance either by CM Punk or a "lawyer" representing Punk will claim some legal loophole that prevents a new champ from being crowned. Punk in the meanwhile will be doing the old NWA method of "defending" the title at independent wrestling organizations(to avoid the 30 day rule being invoked)

Seeing what happened at ComicCon I believe I am onto something

When asked about guys he thought were the future he mentioned Barrett, Sheamus and Morrison. No Zackster! And being such a mark, I always get a little insecure about DiBryan not being talked about.

I must admit, Punk is basically saying what the internet has been saying for years. I'm seeing a poor man's Stone Cold anti-McMahon thing here.

They are building this up so amazingly. The fact that Punk keeps showing up at these events with the belt is perfect. The fact he's challenging HHH publicly was awesome. They are leaving to just the point where there's enough to believe it could be legit.

hopefully the climax of this is going to be Punk hitting Triple H with the Pepsi Plunge

I think it'll be Punk vs. Triple H at Survivor Series and then eventually Punk vs. Austin at Mania

That'd be great. When Punk and Cena were up on the top rope last sunday, I thought for a second he was going for the plunge for the win.

Same. Typically they wouldn't let him use it for safety reason, but it could be a burning hammer type deal where they'll allow him to do it to the right guy.

I don't buy the safety thing. If that was the case there's no way they would've let Kaval do the Warrior's Way because if that movie is slightly botched you could crush the guy's larynx

We also don't see any variation of the piledriver from anyone but Taker. Lawler couldn't even use it.

Flairs new site:

Along with autographed books, photos, posters, T-shirts and video releases, the legendary grappler is selling five minute phone calls and live video chats for $495 and $750, respectively. He is also selling custom-made replicas of the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for $4,550.

This is getting really sad.
