SSSSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Losing Matthews screwed me up pretty badly. After some consideration that mostly consisted of me going "ugh" when considering players, I've decided to just take the guy I consider clearly BPA, even if he's probably going to end up coming off the bench:
Paul Millsap, "fooled the scouts."

Going with a set of guards this time around:

Pick 1: OJ Mayo - West Coast
Pick 2: Gilbert Arenas - Sharpshooter

Didn't we reverse the order so you should only get 1 pick this time?

Umm, I guess it's not clear... what was said is that we'd reverse rounds 3 and 4, which happened, so I suppose that does mean that this round goes 1-14 again.

1st round - 1>14
2nd round 14>1
3rd round 14>1
4th round 1>14
5th round 14>1
6th round 1>14
etc...

after the 3rd round we go back to regular serpentine draft. no other rounds are reversed.

Arenas was my 5th round pick. So, according to that, we're good on the order.

I went through Eric Gordon's whole draftexpress profile to find a way to pick him

guys, the only round that was reversed was round 3. jaruff was correct in picking twice. we are back to a normal serpentine draft for the remainder of the draft. carry on.

part of the fun of this draft is that many players are not eligible, which makes it impossible to have 12 starters on your team. this way everyone has 3-4 stars, 3-4 role players and a few scrubs. HAHA!!!!

you have to find players to fit categories rather than categories to fit players... at least after the first few rounds.

I'm actually pretty good on categories right now. I have 2-3 guys per category; just hoping people forget about some of them.

I think I've got the strongest team right now. Every player I've picked can play two positions extremely well.

Dwight = C/PF

Manu = SG/SF

Monta = PG/SF

Some other guy = Great guy I'm sure. Can't remember who you are though.

I did it this way so I wouldn't be boned too hard trying to find enough bench depth to have a 48 minute team.

EDIT: Sweet! I picked Ty Lawson drunk? I should have been wasted this whole time :D

I'm not sure I'd ever play Manu at SF.

Well I know I would.

Not bad at all. He'd start SG for me, and Ty would be first off the bench sliding Monta to SG and Manu to SF, and SF to bench who would come back before the end of the 1st q to replace Manu, who would come back to replace Monta, who would come back to replace Ty. I think it would be a pretty solid rotation.

Finally Odom picked.

I don't like Ellis - Ginobili backcourt with Dwight. Neither Monta nor Manu are 3pt shooter first to benefit fully from Howard inside.

I was already starting to think that we'll get another change at picking him. Actually it's insulting that McGee who's as dumb as a rock got picked before Lamar. I know JaVale has potential and athleticism, but still.

He is a top blocker and center thus positional need.
