Re: 2011
There's no reason to assume Cesc Fabregas' body will break down any earlier or later than anyone else. Ryan Giggs was playing 40-50 games a year from when he was 17/18 years old, and he's still going pretty strong. Ditto for Paolo Maldini, who was a first team regular at Milan from the age of 17, but played until he was 40. Both of those guys had their injury issues, too. It ultimately comes down to how well player's take care of their bodies. Cesc Fabregas is hardly a guy who is reliant on his physical abilities, either - even as a young guy, he's not particularly strong, and he doesn't have explosive pace, so as he gets older, physical decline shouldn't affect his quality too much.

Agreed, as he slows down I think he will become a deep lying midfielder.

I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

Really? It was the basis for Alan Davies' song about Diaby. To the tune of "Let it be":
When I find myself in times of trouble Arsene Wenger comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, Diaby
Diaby, Diaby, Diaby, Diaby
He knocked out John Terry
Diaby!

Emmanuel Eboue to Seven Nation Army was pretty good too. The worst part about us selling Eboue is that I won't hear that sung anymore.

I'm so glad Chelski missed out on Pastore. They would have been way to fake. They going to get gouged for Modric.
