Post Lockout moves
Becuase there is going to be a TON of moves in the next week, I figured we could keep the smaller stuff in here. Obviously if we sign NA we should have a thread for that. But for depth player signings and resignings, etc, lets do it here.
and football is back!!

Re: Post Lockout moves
Deals can be agreed to but not signed until Friday, if I'm understanding this correctly. So there is going to be alot of back and forth all week, starting today. I can't wait to get things moving. Our players show up on Thursday.

Re: Post Lockout moves
Apparently the #1 target for us is Jonathon Joseph, not NA

Signing JJ would be a huge upgrade to the secondary and defense in general

Some UDFA we have signed or will sign. I like a few of them, like Quentin Davie and Keith Smith

Re: Post Lockout moves
Fulghum has a decent chance to stick. Head hunter with speed.
I told y'all 6 months ago that Jonathan Joseph was the top CB target. Hear me now, believe me later
Not sure they'll be the top bidder though.

Bryant Johnson will be released. As he should. What a piece...
Rumor we may be interested in Robert Gallery from the Raiders. I'm down for a OG upgrade

We offered a contract to Tulloch that included a $10M signing bonus.

Re: Post Lockout moves
For some reason I think I mentioned us bringing in Tulloch in the past and I think I accidentally said Bulluck. Anyhow, he had 160 total tackles last year, 6 PDs and 1 INT. That should be better than Dizon.

I would be so happy to get Tulloch. Move Levy outside and you have a really solid 2/3 of a LB core. If we could get Joseph to play CB....this defense would be good
Gallery signed somewhere else, so that ain't happening

Re: Post Lockout moves
The Jason Hasnon era is apparently over...Dave Rayner signed and it's not the kind of money you give to a potential replacement.
Eric Weddle and Quintin Mikell both off the market. IMO we don't talk nearly enough about our safety issues, and either would have helped. Gotta hope Speivey steps up I guess

Re: Post Lockout moves
There's always Mark Barron. We should already have at least 3 first round picks going into the next draft by my count, so I have him penciled in as a maybe.

Re: Post Lockout moves
Justin Durant, formerly of Jax, appears to be on board.

You bring in Tulloch and a Durant/Tulloch/Levy starting LB group is solid

Rather get Tulloch/Marshall/Houston vs just Tulloch/Joseph.

Idk why. Marshall is one of the worst starting corners in the league.

Um no. You go for Tulloch and Joseph and celebrate if that happens

Other moves:
Johnny Culbreath signs, our first draft pick to do so. Practice squad fodder there
We signed Rashied Davis, hopefully to compete for our WR4 spot

LeShore signs, will be in camp Friday. Lions are hopeful on Young and Fairley following soon
We also signed S Maurice Leggett. Backup i assume?
No word on Tulloch or Joseph, though I would think NA has to go before Joseph makes a move
