imo guillen was acting very childishly staring down that hr, but weaver messed up and went head hunting on the next batter, they shouldve just gotten guillen his next ab

verlander threatening aybar was also very childish

fun game to watch though :lol:

I thought it was a bush league display by both Weaver and Guillen.

Weaver overreacted to Magglio's HR. It looked like he was just trying to see if it was fair or foul and not posing. I'm not sure why Weaver needed to shout at Cabrera after he got him out.

There was no need for Guillen to taunt Weaver after the HR. You just hit a HR, your bat did the talking, just round the bases like you hit a HR before.

I had no problem with the bunt, that's just good baseball. The game was close and the Angels needed to get someone on base. Plus there might have been an emotional let down for Verlander that might have affected his pitching if that bunt was a successful hit.
I do have a problem with bunting during a no-hitter when you're down by 5 or 6 runs though.

I don't have a problem with Guillen's taunt at all. **** Weaver. Ordonez didn't do anything wrong with his early atbat. He dropped his bat and was watching to see if the ball would stay fair. Yet Weaver has a stick up his ass and starts running his mouth.

Guillen is saying "Okay, you want us to run? How you like this!" Good for him. Weaver acted like a punk. Ofcourse, Guillen did too, but it washes out. Weaver shouldn't have whined earlier in the game and nothing would have happened.

You also don't headhunt like that on the next batter. What a joke. Weaver should be suspended.

I didn't see exactly what Guillen did.

What I did see, didn't seem that bad. I only saw one clip though.....

Regardless, any retaliation aimed at another players head is ridiculous and dangerous.

I had no problem with the bunt but the rest of it was just stupid.
